“Absolutely recommend using this place! I used CleanEats while I was in San Jose for two weeks for work. They were able to make meals specific to my requests and had them delivered every few days to my hotel. Super low cost for the quality and the delivery. The meals were delicious and kept very fresh in the fridge for several days. This place was an absolute life saver. I am so thankful for their willingness to help me with my specific meals requests and stay on my meal routine while away from home.”

“Space was comfortable and service was friendly. All items were good portions and super fresh! Flavors were perfect. The Tofu appetizer was delicious and the scallops were the best we’ve ever had. My mom and I both agree this is our new favorite sushi spot. Highly recommend!”

“We stopped by and tried a couple of the ceviches and a shrimp causa. They looked appealing and each had a unique taste. I expect the seafood to be the star of a ceviche dish and all three dishes seemed to be lacking with this. I may go back and try a main dish, but the ceviche was just not what I was expecting”

“We came here to get some beer and some food before the sharks game. The food is ordered from the adjoining restaurants, it was very tasty. I would say regular fries over the garlic fries, truffle fries are better than the regular fries. A flight is a little pricey, but they have some good beers on tap, glasses of beer are a little high, but were good. The only bad thing was the music. It was not ideal for an Italian beer pub. Plz god change it.”

“Since this was our first time exploring non rated place, we decided to go ahead with slices. We ordered margarita, mushroom and veggie slice. We thought we will order a pie once we like the flavor and I am glad we didn’t order a pie. The slices were really delicious in taste but were served cold. I was looking for sort yet crunchy crust but nothing of that sort. It was very chewy so we ended up not getting a whole pie. I would pass on this one.”

“This place is such a gem! The food is incredible, atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The pepperoni flatbread with hot honey is really something else. And after a couple visits, honestly I could say the same about everything else we've tried. The owners are so knowledgeable about their selection and they put a lot of thought and expertise into the menu and sourcing. They're super fun to chat with about wine and life. Excellent all around!”

“MAN STOP HERE. THIS WAS THE BEST STARBUCKS EXPERIENCE IVE HAD EVER!!!! 3:20 PM turned out to be an amazing time with no wait , I placed my mobile order for 2 drinks 1 green tea and my usual toffee nut and creme Frappuccino [I modify other drinks to make mine] and this staff went above and beyond anything I've gotten or expected from a Starbucks. Not to mention it was sitting already waiting before my 3:29 return time. When I say I squealed when I saw my drink I mean it the staff literally stopped to stare at me lol , but it was just an amazing looking drink and experience.”

“I haven’t seen a Mediterranean place with these many vegetarian options( falafel, avacado, lentil soup ,beets, egg plant, hummus, veggies, cauliflower etc). Their veggies are super fresh and the food tasted great with garlic spread , tzatziki and tahini sauce topping! One of the best restaurants in SJ market center and must try!”

“Milan was a delightful find for us through OpenTable. The ambiance, highlighted by the exquisite marble rectangular bar, truly stands out as the focal point of elegance in the restaurant. The service was wonderful, with attentive staff ensuring a pleasant experience. The food exceeded expectations, delivering both deliciousness and surprisingly reasonable prices. Milan's appetizers and pastas were delicious and authentic. The crab cake special, brimming with crab and minimal breading, was a standout for us. Milan is the ideal local venue for family gatherings, girls' night out, special celebrations, or romantic evenings. We're also looking forward to returning to enjoy the bar's television for sports viewing, and trying more fabulous looking dishes on the menu.”

“Amazing fried chicken with great customer service and no struggles with parking definitely make it a top notch choice. They serve Halal chicken and their spice levels are worth engaging in and given a try ( if your tongue and the exit route allow for it :) ). Absolutely recommend their combos and fries on the side . Looking forward to more such orders and visits!!!”

“Very impressed with the amount of stuff they give you for the price. I got the Fruit Delight. Basically a fruit salad in a cup. Lots of yummy and substantial stuff, so much so that It can probably replace a meal. And it has no tea which is amazing, especially for people like me who don't do tea. The order I got wasn't to sweet and it had many flavors in there that worked harmoniously. I'll be coming again for sure!”

“This is probably the most authentic Indo-Chinese food I have had in the US — took me back to India. The Gobi Manchurian Dry was my favorite, it’s not the red colored ketchup flavor that you usually get in most other locations, but authentic flavor that you get in India. I also took the fried momos, which were so thin and crispy. The chili garlic noodles were delicious but very spicy. This restaurant is my new favorite and I am sure I will keep coming back here!”

“Super Dish is a newly open casual restaurant inside the mall. It draws a very popular crowd among the older Chinese patrons. We’ve managed to dine there a couple of times. And while some of the authentic dishes are flavorful, others fall flat. We enjoy quality Chinese food and so, was hoping that this new establishment would be our prime go-to spot. Many of the unique dishes are spicy but you can request to adjust the heat temperature to mild and medium. The service is quick and they’re very friendly. The prices are reasonable for the Bay Area. But like many Chinese cuisines, some of the dishes appear slightly greasy, but that’s where the flavor really comes from. Parking is plentiful as it’s surrounded by free, open mall parking. It’s located directly across from 99 Ranch market, so a convenient space to shop for groceries afterwards.”

“Best Mexican Paleteria in San José! If you come on the weekends they usually have a big line but weekdays are more empty. They have a variety of ice creams and paletas, my favorite is coco de agua and Fresa. They also have a lot of Mexican chips that you can ask to add in your snacks.”

“We were looking forward to a shaved ice and we decided to come to this little place because it had very good comments. I ordered a tejuino and my family ordered a shaved ice, all of whom were delighted. The tejuino was DELICIOUS!! 😋 So I give it a 10/10 👍🏼👍🏼 🙌🏼🫡”

“This is a really great place if ur in the area! We tried it a couple years ago when we came to California and the tortas were delicious and a big portions too. We were craving them and decided to come back again. They’re still very delicious they were a little bit too salty this time in my opinion but still delicious! Definitely recommend and the service was great”

“NOT TO BE OVER LOOKED!! This incredible food truck serves some of the most delicious Mexican food in the entire area. Do not feel like you are missing out or the food will be lackluster just because it is coming from a food truck. The owner George is an incredible young man and entrepreneur that really is pushing the limits on what Mexican cuisine can truly be. Being open for the first weekend was an incredible thrill seeing the amount of people and the amount of support that this young man has received from the entire community. Everyone please come and enjoy some incredible cuisine and have a wonderful time getting to know the incredibly talented young man.”

“This experience is very close to a perfect five-star rating. As someone who has a lot of experience with food deserts, Arteaga's Food Center positions itself as a blessing appearing in plain clothes. African American communities are famous for "corner stores," but there aren't anything's "storish" about them. The majority of them make money selling alcohol in minority neighborhoods. For the San Jose area, this layout is the blueprint for fighting back against the one-size-fits-all supermarket concept that's failed time-and-time again. With that said, there were only a few things missing from the experience that precluded it from becoming a five star market. First, they didn't have compostable bags. Plastic waste is a fixable problem in the environment, and revoking plastics from the most basic shopping experiences has proven to be a problem people with money aren't willing to solve, but that's a story for another day. In addition, the meat shop doesn't use butcher paper, instead it also uses plastic bags, and I've already mentioned why that's a factor in the 4-star rating. Outside of these two fixable factors, the rest of the store performs its primary function wonderfully. That function is selling high quality foods for an affordable price. The core pillars of a great diet are fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats, with a variety of bread-based products blended throughout the store. The store offers a seasonal selection of demographic specific food that fits the majority of needs customers have in this area. As mentioned, there is a butcher shop as well, which complements the baked goods and authentic pastries. In summary, Arteaga's succeeds where the "Whole Check Foods" model fails, and is a constant reminder they are the ultimate corner stores. I just wish there were as many of these are their were liquor and convenience stores in our neighborhoods. Even though the store is close to where I live. I still pass two of the less quality "traditional" corners stores on the way to get there. As a bonus, they accept E.B.T, and also hand out coupons to subsidize fruit and vegetable purchases when customers use their cards there. Almost perfect...”
