“I have never had a bad experience at a Casa Ramos, and this establishment was no different. The food was beyond delicious. My carnitas burrito was packed full of meat and worth every penny. The staff was very nice, polite and on top of their game. I would give more stars if I could.”

“Delicious food, polite staff, clean & spacious environment. I ordered the Chicken Saag with rice & a garlic naan, spicy level medium. The chicken saag was full of flavor and a good portion. It was very fresh and obviously super hot to the touch, which was a plus for me. It was very spicy as well. I didn’t mind it because it was delicious and I enjoy most of my food spicy, but for those that don’t handle spicy food very well, I recommend you stay in the mild level. It will be a tasty meal either way. The rice was tasty and well cooked. The naan had just the perfect amount of garlic and was also a decent size. It complimented everything very well. I would definitely order again. They are located inside the convenience store of a truck stop. They have a large variety of snacks, drinks and much more. Like I mentioned, it’s very neat and has plenty of tables.”

“The week my husband and I spent at SRL exceeded all of our expectations. Terri and David were great facilitators. We met some amazing couples, ate the best meals, had some exciting adventures, but most importantly grew spiritually. Our relationship was taken to a new level. It was one of the best weeks we have spent together in 20 years. Thank you to the SRL staff for all that they do!”

“Cute 50's diner. Good breakfast. Decent burger. Country fried steak looked really good, will give that a try next visit. Not particularly well staffed, so go hungry and with some patience. They do try! Still, decent eats.”

“So good! Service was great from start to finish. We ordered the pretzel sticks with cheese, Ribeye Steak, and the Grilled cheese and all three were delicious. Place was really stylish and relaxed, would definitely recommend!”

“Our server was new but did a great job. Ambiance was very nice; though it was a little odd to be seated in the lobby, the building is gorgeous & being in the lobby gave my tired child a little (quiet) freedom. The food was all delicious. They were out of several menu items, but everything we got was terrific (steak, fish, pasta, salad, sorbet, affogato). Would have appreciated more non-alcoholic beverage options. Will definitely recommend & return!”

“My friend and I stayed at the guest house in the room with the clawed bathtub. So cute! There's a beautiful view of the top of Shasta from the veranda and the room was cozy. We nearly didn't book because AC wasn't listed on any of the guest house amenities list (we thought the house might be too old for AC), but we decided to go for it. Luckily, it feels like the house might have central AC and there's even a fan in the room. It reached 100 degrees outside this weekend, but it was still cool in the room. Anyway, I very much recommend the guesthouse! I can't speak to the service since we didn't really use it.”

“We stopped by here while in town exploring and the waitress was friendly. I ordered the pork belly bf but it was a little too much on the fatty side for me. That’s my bad cuz I hadn’t eaten pork belly before. Overall the rest of the items were delish and they had activities for the little kids- tic tac toe and coloring books with crayons. Cute, cozy place to check out while you’re passing through or stopping in town.”

“They use to hang meat here years ago; now it’s a restaurant. Very nostalgic for my husband. The waitress was friendly & the food was good!”

“Great pizza: super thick style like bread sticks - with delicious topings! We got the #7 - add onions & mushrooms. Had plenty for breakfast too (just 2 of us, small pizza). Friendly place, plenty of seating, have patience if they're crowded because the kitchen is small. We sat inside with air conditioning & TV sports to entertain us. Will be back when we're back in the area. *Very nice variety of beers! We enjoyed the sampler & a couple of pints! 🍻”

“Fantastic little burger place just off HWY 5. Great group of young folks working here doing an awesome job with every option on the menu. Plenty of parking, clean bathrooms, and a train and caboose nearby.”

“The best burger place anywhere! The service is amazing from taking the order to having it ready in no time even in the busiest of their time. Even though we didn’t have any, they have a pretty good variety of local craft beers. They bake some delicious sticky buns (cinnamon and classic) and provide instructions on how to best enjoy them 😀. Definitely a place for return trip when I am in the area again! Parking can be tight. If the queue in the restaurant is long, don’t worry-it moves quick and you get food quick too!”

“Fabulous place to eat! We sat outside in their garden area, all tables had umbrellas which was great as it started to thunder and rain but we could stay outside! Food was amazing and staff was so friendly. They make their own microbrew and root beer. Glad we arrived in town before they closed. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in town or passing through Dunsmuir!”

“Beer was good reasonable price. Live music food good. I think it may be the best place in the area worth a visit.”

“Phenomenal place! There was 5 of us (all adults). Great atmosphere, clean restaurant and restrooms, arcade, TV playing sports, downtown, and tons of options. Including a salad bar. The food was extremely fresh, hot, served fast, and tastes great! The staff were nice people. Friendly too. All the customers were inviting too, which was awesome. Talked to us about their city, it’s history, asked about where we are from. We were nervous based on the reviews, but wanted to try something local. The bad reviews are beyond wrong and it’s rather annoying. The arcade is nostalgic as all get out. Haha. Wonderful place over all. I hope you’re hungry, the food is abundant! If we ever visit California again. We will absolutely be coming all the way back up here again. Just for the people, views, and food.”

“What a great meal. Very attentive to you and the food. Truly a well crafted meal from start to finish. Did not get a picture of the appetizer, which was fried zucchini blossoms stuffed with shrimp. Butter leaf lettuce salad with creamy garlic dressing and smoked rouge blue cheese, I had the pan seared beef tenderloin and my wife had the chicken basquaise. Dessert was the fresh peach cheese cake. I cannot give a high enough rating for this meal and service.”

“Tried this awesome food today, I got the jerk chicken (which I highly recommended!) My dad got the fish, very good as well. Everything tasted delicious, the atmosphere was chill and a great place to dine in. Plenty of places to sit. The food was seasoned to perfection, they also had a great selection of sweets, all kinds of fudge, peach cobbler, cakes, cinnamon rolls. I bought a couple of their jars of homemade jelly, spicy strawberry & a citrus one.. both very unique and sooo good! The staff was sweet and very friendly, I highly recommend eating at this gem of a place 💕 authentic food with authentic people 🙂 oh! They have some bomb smoothies too, very nutritious smoothies that hit the spot on a hot day as this one. 🙂👍 5 stars! We welcome you 💕”

“Waitress was lovely. My dining companions loved their vegetarian meals but my vegan tacos were not the best. Beans and guacamole would have made them perfect. Beautiful place though. Thank you!”

“The menu is sandwiches and fast ish type food. The quality is good, flavors basic though. A decent variety to choose from. The price is almost teetering overpriced for what it is ($17-$20) And to be honest I wonder if more locals would go here if better priced. The venue is fantastic, smaller cozy comfortable vibe which is well decorated in a tasteful modern eclectic/ curated way. Along the lines of a small coffee shop with an artsy modern feel. It feels more like a community space with people placing games at tables, of which, they have a great assortment which you can play! There’s also a bar and a very good bottle/ can beer selection which is well curated with choice beers from around the world and normally priced. ($6-$8) I would definitely go here again but the food prices for the basics do make you think twice.”

“Absolutely some of the best food we’ve had! Do not miss out! Between the two of us we had 3 quesatacos, lengua taco, asada taco, and beans and rice - it was more than enough for the two of us! It came with a trio of salsas on the side that you could tell were fresh. They also served some of the best chips and salsa! The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean and nice.”
