“If you never had the chance to visit a North Beach Italian restaurant before SF was ruined by the tech bros, Mount Shasta has the answer. Gigi’s is a great little Italian restaurant with the original Italian-American style. Proud of their heritage- photos and great food to prove it. Fun spot. Well worth the morning. If you’re lucky, you might catch Gigi there. Hurry before he moves back to Italy!”

“The absolute BEST Al Pastor burrito I’ve ever had in my life. I had to come back after I was done eating buy something else just to give them more business and enjoy the awesomeness. You can’t be disappointed here, the meat is flavored perfectly and cut perfectly and everything is super fresh. I’m sad they only have one location in Mt. Shasta and I hope they expand open something up in Redding too one day soon!”

“Nice local supermarket. I really enjoyed the small hot bar where I got some BBQ tri tips and chicken wings. I used the BBQ meat to make my own sandwich with store bought sourdough bread. Locals recommend getting a sandwich from their deli.”

We appreciated how everyone that came in was greeted by their name and as visitors, Julie took the time to get to know us. WHEN we come back to McCloud, you will find us here :)”

“The train car was very clean and comfy, great for our family of 5! The mini fridge and microwave worked out perfect for warming up any leftovers for our kids to eat. The location is beautiful with huge trees all around made it a great “glamping experience”. The shower was very nice. The water got warm fast and the water flow was perfect. So many hikes, lakes, and waterfalls in the area to explore. We would definitely stay again!!”

“After staying in Redding, Ca for a day, we decided to stop at Casino prior to hitting the Oregon border. Rain Rock casino had plenty of billboards along the way and thankfully not far off the freeway. Only wanted to stop for the $5 burgers. Arrived around 10am, decided to play for a bit before heading to the restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not open till noon. But I have to say, I enjoyed how clean the casino was and how I walked away happy with an extra hundy in hand. I noticed some construction, I think they will be building a convention center? Part of the Karuk Reservation! (if you’re a history buff) Thanks, can’t wait to visit again!”

“Older small movie palace in downtown Weed. Beautiful theater. I went to a concert. The acoustics were good and the theater is small enough that the performers we're easily seen. Also since the theater is a huge concrete structure, it never gets too hot or too cold inside. I took a star off because there are hardly any events scheduled. Just a few years ago, a major recording studio was located there.”

“I come here with my dad to get a nice big bowl of pho, a spicy papaya salad and some delicious quality jasmine tea, the customer service is great and the food is absolutely delicious! This is the best pho hands down! 🍜 They also have a lot of great sandwiches and boba teas ect! But my favorite is the pho, this soup is a cure all and gives me life! The bone broth is full of vitamins and collagen which gives me all the more reason to come eat here. Very healthy food. Thank you for being in this little town, you are a gem 💎 and truly appreciated!”

“The food was good even though the portions were really little they used to be a lot bigger. The service was good the teenage boys that were working there seem to be doing their jobs but the atmosphere was very poor everything was broken everything was out of service their soda machine their games their change machine everything was out of order we played one video game me and my boyfriend and it ate my quarter my quarters but they replaced it so that was nice.. now would I suggest Pizza factory to anybody else well yeah I would just for pickup I wouldn't I wouldn't stay there and eat there's nothing going on good there to make it worth sitting there and eating your food you might as well take it home and go watch a movie with the family.”

“Wish I had a photo but I ate it so fast... this family BBQ has chicken, pork and beef. Most meals have jasmine rice and they make and sell their own sauce. You order outside. Each order takes about 15 minutes. When it's ready you sanitize hands ✋ enter and pay. Also offer cold canned soda. Back again for pulled pork and rice. Ordering still takes place outside. Bought a bottle of the homemade sauce for home, looking forward to seeing what I can do with it.”

“Every time I travel through this town I go here and it’s normally pretty good. Though the last few times I’ve noticed things have changed. I think the waitresses and kitchen staff were having a rough night. I noticed it was a poorly managed kitchen, communication wasn’t good and wires got crossed. They were so flustered they didn’t even greet us for 20 minutes. Then after another 20 minutes of just sitting there and finally requesting service, we ordered and right after we ordered they had to give the chefs a break for 40 minutes. Luckily they put our food in but they kept making other people wait. I watched multiple people leave. When we finally got our food the meat was green and we were scarred to eat it. The food wasn’t very good. I think this place would be great if they had better management but it’s clear their staff needs proper training as no one seems to know who’s job is who’s in there and they don’t seem to have a system. I know the restaurant life can be hard but I think it would be a shame if this restaurant lost its reputation due to the poor management. Hopefully they get their groove back.”

“I ate the "When Pigs Fly" with a side of pasta. It was an awesome open faced sandwich slathered with a delicious mac n cheese and a unique aioli sauce that made it a great lunch. Prices were great and they had a selection of beers that i did not sample but im sure they are great as well. Ill be back for more. Thanks!”

“This place is a Gem! Tucked away in the quaint town of Etna California, people take the drive from out of town to experience this restaurant and I can see why! The staff had great energy on the phone and in person. The Denny bar has their own distillery, tasting room, inside and outside seating. I recommend making a reservation to promptly get in if you don’t want to wait. Like I said people are driving here because they know this place is amazing! When they seated us they had a personalized card welcoming us. They had a great selection for drink flights. The only problem was trying to narrow down which flavors I wanted to try so we got two flights! I would say choosing what to eat was just as hard. The waitress kept checking in with us to see if we needed anything and how everything tasted. If you get a chance this is definitely a must to check out.”

“A great spot and a dedicated RV parking lot for Harvest Host members - need to level up but plenty of space. Great food (Ruben and vegetarian flat bread pizza) and beer. Very knowledgeable bartender/brewer. Jalapeño pickle beer was nice! Great music and tons of indoor and outdoor space with games, fire pits and the alpenglow of Mt Shasta is the background. Fantastic stop. Would love to come back in summer.”

“Would give a 4.5 mostly because the latte did not come out good. When re-made it was then too sweet. It was also a bit dirty on the floor, but it may have been a busy morning too. All else was excellent. Love that they have 3 restrooms. The breakfast sandwiches felt fresh and perfectly warmed (have nearly burnt my mouth at othe places). Same with the pumpkin loaf, would think it is a recent shipment, but was warmed up nicely and felt fluffy fresh. Cold brew was good too. Service was friendly.”

“Food here is excellent! Hot, fresh and fast! They just opened today 2-11-23 And the inside is beautiful and clean! Plenty of seating inside the restaurant and easy to get to since it is right off main st. In addition there is ample parking. The smell of the food is amazing and hits you as you walk in the door...made my mouth eater and my stomach growl!! I didn't even realize I was that hungry!! And the taste of the papusas is pure heaven!! The hours are from 8am to 8pm. Definone of the best food spots in Yreka right now! The owners are amazing and have had many years of restaurant experience. Worth the drive from Redding to Yreka!”
