“EDIT: So based on the owners reply, I am bumping up one star as the food was really that good. I will plan on returning at some point, hopefully I get to take my kids to Yosemite next summer. I will be back. I really wanted to love the Priest Station Cafe but the absolutely poor service destroyed the fact that to their food was great. When we arrived there were only a couple of people at dinner, it did fill up pretty quickly though. We were able to order quickly but things went down hill quickly. My app was delivered at the same time as my entree. My friends entree was 15 minutes later and then only when a different server asked is if we had everything. It certainly appeared as though it had been sitting under the warming lamps for a while. Our drinks were never refreshed, and when we asked for the check from our server it never came, (waited 15 minutes). We then asked the other server about it bill and she said well everyone wants their bill right now and walked off. 10 minutes later she asked if we had gotten our check, but we still hadn't. Finally a couple of minutes later it came and we paid and left. Would I try to eat here again, absolutely. I hope they were just haveing an off night. The house made sauerkraut was a perfect addition to their bratwurst entree, as was the pickled cabbage. And the view from deck is great.”

“Good food, good service. Friendly. Don't let the rundown exterior fool you. The place is clean and bright inside. The Denver omelette was cooked perfectly. My wife had the potato and corned beef hash. Probably the best corned beef I have ever tasted, or at least remember. Very kid friendly, though my kid is picky as hell and would only eat the fruit bowl, which was fresh and delicious. The sourdough pancakes were good, with a serious sour tangy taste. Wish they were located near me.”
