“We were able to experience this new location during their soft opening for my birthday with some family. There were six adults total and we arrived just a little after opening since they were not currently taking reservations. We were seated right away with no issues, they pushed a two top and a four top together and we're super nice. The location is rather small on the inside but they do fit in a decent amount of seating. We were sat right by the door so it was a little cold (rainy out) but not a big deal. In terms of service everyone was nice and able to explain dishes to various people in our group as well as accomodation our vegetarian with a veggie "sushi" plate (carrot on rice sushi, avocado on rise and one other as well as a little bit of mushrooms and a veggie roll). This was not on the menu but our server offered it right away which was very nice. Our "bus boy" was who we had the most contact with and who checked in on us the most. Super friendly and fun dude and a great addition to their team, I wish I would have gotten his name. But found him to be the most helpful of the folks there. Food was good overall with our least favorite things being the classic pieces of sushi. Sadly the few pieces we got were chewy which was a surprise since the pieces of fish as a part of our other dishes were good (maybe bad luck). The "Emma" sushi was interesting and pretty tasty. Our rolls (sunset and three others) were interesting and very good as was the sashimi dish we got (a tuna with truffle and mushrooms). One couple in our group got the sea bass and thought it was very good as well. Dessert options are currently limited to a few ice cream flavors (since we were there for a birthday celebration we were hoping they had something good or interesting or would say happy birthday or something.. but not so much). Not a big deal, don't typically expect a ton of dessert at sushi spots but thought their other locations offered more choices (but could be wrong), just a note. We headed to another spot for treats after. Overall we would definitely go back, service was very good and there were a lot of unique rolls and dishes to try. If we were looking for just straight classic sushi there is another local spot we would probably go to but this was great for the variety and delicious combinations of flavors! Bill was under $300 for six adults (one couple shared a main though and only two people got alcohol, one drink each) and some teas and one soda. Photos of most everything except the sea bass and edamame we got.”

“Amazing food! This is the most authentic Korean you'll find in Ventura County. The dipping sauces and dishes explode with amazing flavor. My spouse, who grew up in South Korea, was in heaven! I was as well.”

“Ethnically I’m middle eastern-southwest Asian and I LOVE food from the Med-Levant region. This place is delicious!!!! I have added it to my rotation of good Greek joints! Good for when you’re looking at fast-food style Greek food vs. sit down restaurant style (Tony Taverna in Malibu is good for that type)! Great service, clean, and outdoor seating is relaxing and clean!”

“The service here is exceptional. There have been a few hiccups with the pandemic, but overall, everyone at the store is a pleasure to interact with. At this location, you get service with a smile, and several employees really try to make that connection with their customers. You can tell everyone works really hard to keep up with the high demand. Thank you Kristen for all your hard work!”

“This is a very nice place for a quick lunch that, on just the right day, can turn into a nice long leisurely lunch. It's a good variety on the menu, nice options, and arrives fairly quickly if you're not stuck in one of their long noon-time lines. The outdoor seating is ideal to help extend your stay. And yes, they even have on tap something from one of the local craft brewers. Well done.”

“We checked into the wait-list on their app but when we arrived I think the host was better and didn't fully know what to do with that, so he did his best and told us it wouldn't be much longer of a wait. Thankfully we snagged a few spots at the bar and were able to remove our name from the wait-list quickly. The service at the bar was great. Beers we're cold and plentiful and the food was delicious as always.”

“One of the best customer service I have ever received in my life. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable and polite. He constantly remember to check up on everybody in his section. Food, drink and desserts are amazing. it is definitely on the high-end when it comes to prices but I see why and it's definitely worth it”

“Your typical higher end fast food. Food was good and reasonable with good service. They also sponsored my children's music fundraiser, so they are excellent community partners as well.”

“Fun environment & the food, apart from the over flavored & difficult to chew chips. I highly recommend their sandwiches. I would love to come back to try a drink since it is a lemonade shop. I went with a friend & she didn't enjoy every part of her food either. So I'd say this is a decent place to go if you like color, loud pop music, like flavor with healthy options, don't mind spending a good amount of money.”

“My typical Wednesday morning breakfast. Good food, great options and one of the best places for coffee. I send my staff there for muffins and cookies. The coffee cake is amazing. Need to open in Oxnard though, the closest one is in Westlake Village.”

“Their menu selections are great especially for brunch. Very impressed with their reservation process. I called about an hour and a half before the time I wanted to reserve and was immediately seated upon arrival. Server was efficient and friendly. Took awhile until food arrived which I'm guessing was caused by some kind of hiccup between the kitchen and the servers. Everybody enjoyed their meals which were tasty and very visually appealing.”

“Gluten free pasta is ok. Next time I will try one of the risottos, if they are gluten free. The special pasta with truffle is excellent my wife tells me.”

“An incredible experience. Antonio, Gianna and the staff make you feel right at home. Service is warm and food comes out fast. We had the beet salad, Brussels sprouts salad and margarita pizza. You must get the pizza here! It’s one of the best I’ve had outside of Italy, not heavy at all and not to thin either. The sauce used is so good, you can taste the authentic tomato flavour without anything needed for enhancement. All the ingredients used are super fresh and at their peak of flavour. I went with my mom and had a delightful time. We even saw a celebrity. ;) If you want the authentic Italian experience don’t miss this place!”

“I had the fish and chips with clam chowder and it was okay. Nothing overtly negative about the food but it was a little bland. The fries could use some seasoning and the chowder had very few clams in it but the flavor was pleasant. Service seems pretty good. The prices are great. I paid less than $13 for my meal. I reccomend it.”

“Highly recommend this cozy cafe. It is a fresh breath of difference. You’ll like it if you’re fed up with never changing every day choices from fast food chains. So good to have Mediterranean appetizer choices with awesome steaks and burger. Deserts are must try!”

“The subs are enormous and the staff, fantastic! This company does a 100% SALES donation to kids that would like to attend college, but have fought cancer and can't afford it. What a place! That's SALES not PROFITS. What an amazing gift!”

“Opportunity to savor Italian dishes. Seafood salads were especially delightful and a must try. The canvas umbrellas in the garden seating area were very tastefully arranged. Attentive server staff. I always select the chicken parm at a new Italian restaurant for comparison. A bit on the salty side but palatable. A good selection of desserts. Interesting location - you will probably need directions.”

“This McDonald suffers from what I see with a lot of other McDonald's where the quality control could be a lot better. I often go to McDonald's and order something as simple as a quarter pounder with cheese and I end up getting half the sandwich made or maybe the fries are cold. I don't really blame this on the corporation itself, but I do you think they need to train their staff to be a little bit more efficient with quality control. This is an over all thing that I see at all McDonald's not just this one. But I will admit that this location in particular has gotten better over the years. I think that they have hired on a lot more people that are enthusiastic about the job even though it is in fast food. And the quality has begun to rise. 8/10 so far.”

“The patty melt was very good. Also the brownie concrete was great. Tried the new fish sandwich, it needs some pickles and tartar sauce. Freddy's sauce didn't go well with the fish. Try the mint concrete, It's good.”
