“This can become your favorite Chinese restaurant in Davis. They have a variety of dishes of varying levels of authenticity catered to all kinds of taste buds. I would recommend consulting the servers for the best experience.”

“The food was just alright. Pricey for how much we got. Ordering was kind of weird and we didn't get any instruction on how to do so. Took over a half hour to get the check despite asking 2 different members of the waitstaff.”

“As a frequent visitor here, I can safely say I highly recommend this place. Their food quality is consistently good and the staff are very friendly. Their lunch menu is a more concise version of their dinner menu, with some lunch specials added. Also, their desert menu is interesting and worth trying because the options are tasty and nicely reflect Japanese cuisine.”

“Excellent meal. The mashed potatoes were some of the best I’ve eaten. The vegetables and meat were cooked perfectly. The combination of flavors in this dish was amazing. We will definitely be coming back.”

“Hole in the wall joint, with great hot dogs, buns and customer service. The hot dogs have a snap when bitten so you know they're quality dogs. The buns are delicious and do not fall apart when loaded with toppings. Potato salad is good but nothing spectacular. What I like most was after eating I didn't feel overly full and weighed down, the portions look hefty but are very tummy manageable ???? Customer service makes you feel welcomed, I'm very indecisive and take forever to order sometimes but the man helping my husband and I was very patient. So happy to have found an awesome hot dog joint! We'll definitely be heading back in the near future ????????????????”

“Great drinks. Great food. Great atmosphere. Sophia's is almost two separate establishments; a bar and a restaurant. The restaurant is entered from the courtyard. The bar closer to E street. The bar has a great ambiance. Well done lighting. An exotic fish tank. Nice seating. Drinks are a little more pricey than other bars in Davis, but that also tends to bring in the slightly higher clientele. A great place to relax. The restaurant has great, inexpensive Thai food. In a town with a dozen Thai restaurants, they are worth checking out.”

“I first heard about this place from my daughter, a graduate student. Since my wife really enjoys Indian food, we made the drive from Sacramento to check it out. It was difficult to find, and during the winter of 2018-19, the City of Davis' contractor revamping had the street all torn-up & under construction. Looks like it's taking them forever to do it. NOW back to the food. It was great, and well-priced for what you get. IF we're ever driving down I-80 past Davis, I'd stop again to eat. It's a real "Mom & Pop" restaurant, and seems authentic & "Fresh." The service wasn't bad either, but I really go for the "Food."”

“This is a small noodle place -- the owners were very friendly and they gave us the sesame balls for free. We tried the wontons - which were very meaty and juicy. The sesame sauce noodles were also tasty, the portions were really generous. We also tried the fried pork cutlet with rice, the pork was a little dry. Overall it was a nice meal.”

“Our first time at this restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service, absolutely delicious! We had some amazing soup and some pork belly with Chinese broccoli. The rice was particularly delicious. Very cozy place to hang out on a cold Winter's Night. Highly recommended”

“This place is so good. I went there with a friend for the first time and I was sad that I didn't know the place longer. It was crowded, but everything goes smoothly and fast. Their food is to die for and it is cheap. That is why is full of students. On the picture I posted, you can see their mushroom, bacon, cheeseburger which was 7 dollars. I have heard that their burritos are also unbelievable delicious.”

“Great diner. Huge portions. Consider sharing a meal. Comfortable decor. Food is pretty good. They are very kids friendly. Crayons and coloring sheets for kids plus a nice, cheap kids menu. Parking at this location is a breeze. They have a large parking lot in back in addition to street parking.”

“I feel like it's mandatory to love In-n-Out as a Californian. But I'd love it even if I wasn't. Great food, reasonable prices, fast service. Also, Animal Style Fries. I am always here for Animal Style Fries. This is the In-n-Out I grew up going to and when I am visiting family in this area, we always stop.”

“Our experience could not have been better. The food was exceptional and the service was friendly, informal, totally enjoyable and very efficient. My prime rib was the best I have had in years and my wife loved her shrimp dish. Our table of four ordered all three of the desert options and they were all wonderful. We will definitely be back.”

“Unique, eclectic restaurant with good food for everyone (vegan, vegetarian, or omnivore). This place is best for breakfast and features scrambles of every variety, good coffee, and vegan and non-vegan pastries or desserts along side a scattering of other selections. Delta of Venus is staffed by and receives much patronage from UCD students and takes some holidays along with the students so don't be surprised to find Delta of Venus closed over the winter holidays or another student break. If Delta of Venus is closed you can head on over to Crepeville, but I always try Delta of Venus first.”

“Always reliable, timely, and tasty. The wait staff is always reliable and if you go frequently, will remember not just you but what you regularly order. Very personable staff as well, you are treated like a welcome guest every time you sit down to when you leave. Great place for sushi!”

“Been there recently, my colleagues are mad about this place. They have craving for this place, they like chicken over rice a lot. I went there but I found it ok. Though I couldn't find any negative opinion about this place. It's just that I found it ok and not worth the drive from Sac to Davis. Lately I came to know that many people are crazy about this place. But my personal opinion - I found it fine.”

“Solomon’s has made my Jewish Debi dreams come true in Davis! Can’t wait for the Sacto location to open so we have not one, but two, incredible high quality and creative Jewish delicatessens in the greater Sacramento area. Solomon’s gives this area another reason to be known for its expanding food scene. The lox and pastrami are out of this world and bring me home to my Brooklyn Jewish roots. Five stars!”

“Really, the only bad thing about this place is the location/the building.. The burgers are amazing, and the fries have been getting better and better. The shakes are also really good. The wait time isn't bad, especially for how big and delicious the burgers are.. I would love it if they gave the beyond/impossible burger a go.. I'm sure it would be phenomenal.”

“Banzai is one shop in a shared space. There is also a drinks counter that serves lattes and beers. They have poke bowls, but the meat to rice ration is low. You order at a counter and they will deliver to your table, but there is no table service. The seating is a little utilitarian, but they do have a small lounge area with eight leather seats. You bus your own table after the meal. Even though this is on campus, there is free two hour parking on all the streets around the restaurant.”

“The garlic fries were very good. A lowkey place on campus to get a good bite to eat and even a beer if you want. I don't understand why one cant use aggiecash for alcohol here. But, I would highly recommend to anyone on campus”
