The cookies were not fresh you can tell as they were hard. She got them from a rack. Once warmed up they got softer not necessarily better. I do like the snickerdoodle. The CC had lots of chips but low on taste. I wouldn't go here again unless I'm with others who want to check out the decor. I'd buy something to support but I won't be seeking them out.”

I highly recommend getting the lox sandwich with the everything bagel. I’ve had my fair share of bagels in NYC and this House of Bagels has really hit the mark in terms of presentation, freshness, and taste. Everything in the store is well presented and clean, so you can definitely tell management cares and knows how to run a store like this. They also stock other types of items like pizza bagels, croissants, and pastry sticks. 5/5 will return next time when I’m in the area.”

I got a Chicken shawarma wrap ($10) that tasted like boiled drychicken with tomatoes lettuce and pickles. I asked the lady if this was my correct order. She took it back and brought another one. it was much better, chicken wasn't tough and it was mixed with tahini and more flavorful and saucy. The wrap bread is fresh and tasty. I could come back for the 2nd tahini filled wrap. or just order something else The falafel plate comes with bread, salad, and hummus in a to-go box. it was all pretty good and came out to $15. I appreciate the friendly service and that they cared enough to fix my first wrap. Cold water provided outside is self service . utensils and salt also outside self service. but gotta ask for hot sauce. seating is nice outside and is open to public too. One small bathroom in the back.”

The classic chicken pie is delicious, the herb sauce they use is so good, and the pastry is flaky and delicious. They have a yellow curry veggie pie, also great flavors and hearty. The mashed potatoes are really yummy, i think they put sour cream in them but please don't hold me to that. From their sweet selection, I did try a couple of cookies, oatmeal raisin, and chocolate chip. They are nice, large cookies. The apple pies-cream is genius! It's a slice of their apple pie in a cup with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel. They have a good selection of coffee drinks that look and sound amazing as well. Definitely recommend!”

They offer deals for different days and also sell dough to bake at your convenience ( so you can bring that amazing smell into your home ). The ice cream cookie wasn't a good choice though since it's way too big to fit in your mouth and when you manage to get a good bite, the ice cream spews around the sides. It would be better to offer it in a bowl or something to get your money's worth but it wasn't expensive at all. Can't wait to go back and get more but need to recover from my cookie coma first.”
