“So my mom went in for me and ordered a violet drink, she can back to what looked and tasted like a dragon drink. I went in by myself and asked for it to be remade politely. The person who handled it was nice. She gave me the drink and it looked exactly the same. But I gave them another chance, it tasted like a violet drink but looked like the dragon drink. It was not the right color but I didn’t care because it tasted like the violet drink. And also my mom asked for a cafe vanilla frap and they had no idea what it was, and said they don’t have that here.”

“The baristas are kind and efficient. However, they might be a little too efficient as they stop reading past the type of drink on the labels, so things like light ice or even no ice do not get read at all. I used to order light ice drinks because I think the recipes just call for too much ice, however the baristas stopped putting in light amounts of ice and just deferred to the standard amount. To combat this, I've ordered drinks with no ice for a while and have just gone home to add my own ice. Today, however, I was given standard ice on a drink I asked for no ice. I really wish baristas would fully read the labels on drink orders.”

“Great place to grab some food! Menu is pretty straight forward. Pizza was good and the sauce was great. The Date Night burger had great flavor. I wish the bacon was a little high quality, but it didn't prevent the meal from being enjoyable. We had more than enough food to feed our table and then some. The happy hour specials are a fantastic deal. Our service was awesome. We'll be back for sure. Also note that you will likely have a hard time getting phone service while inside. For some, that might be a good thing.”

“I ordered pizza from here for the first time tonight. They were super friendly, and more than willing to accommodate my weird request to make sure the olives on one half of the pizza got nowhere near the middle, where they could potentially contaminate the rest of the pizza with their juices. It was still hot when we arrived to pick it up and the price was definitely reasonable. The flavor was good, they put LOTS of cheese (which is arguably the best/most important part) and you can tell they use fresh veggies. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of is the crust. It’s rolled a little thin and the texture is a bit off from what I usually like. Also, the sauce could use a touch more salt and garlic, but it’s pretty tasty. I’m not sure if this will be our number one pizza place, since we haven’t tried all the others in Longmont yet, but I would definitely come back again!”

“I've passed by this place a dozen times on the peak to peak hwy. This time my dire hunger drove me in for lunch. This place screams mom and pop, the service was great, the owners are so hospitable that I felt like I was at my grandparents mountain bar. The sloppy joe was recommended to me, and was better than any other sloppy joe I've ever had in my life. Very down to earth place. Would recommend, and will be stopping again soon.”

“This may be the best restaurant I’ve been to in the last year. Portions are small which did not leave me wanting more. The favors are so good I just enjoyed what I had. It’s also a small establishment maybe has a dozen or more tables which gave it a very personal feeling. Healthy and tasty and innovative too. That’s the Oak. “Like many people, we found this eatery by accident - Pizza? Sure! Who doesn't love pizza? They had a great selection of slices from huge decadent combos to the most basic cheese and red sauce. The crust was thin (bot not crunchy) and was not full of grease like some NY style slices are. Great flavor, my daughter and I ended up eating there two days in a row. Very simple interior with seating in the back of the shop. I would recommend!”

“Traditional and consistent. This IS my favorite place to eat, when on Pearl. You will get Falafel in every bite! Portions are heavy. Been coming here over 10 years. The best quality food ever. Good for Vegan and Vegetarian, also meat dishes, too. You simply walk in order and it's being prepared in no time, service is prompt. You seat Your self. Clean and cozy. “WOW! We both ordered the fixed price 3 course meal, ordering different dishes and sharing. It was a farm to table experience that was just OFF THE CHARTS. The flavors were the flavors of the food--meats and vegetables mostly from their own farm--not just a sauce over the top. And it was beautifully presented. I haven't enjoyed a meal so much since I don't know when. And the service was so attentive, professional, and charming. WE paid $38 each for the 3 course meal, and it was a BARGAIN. I absolutely mean it. If 5 stars is "Excellent," this was a 7 or 8 star experience. If you are in Boulder, you MUST go!”
