“I'm not sure what's going on at all but one location I frequent. My drink I order for the last 5 months has not tasted the same these last few weeks. In addition, it is not being made 'correctly' more times than not at my Castle Rock locations. It is less sweet and the coffee is leaving a bitter and gritty taste this last month or so. My drink uses the blonde espresso and up until recently I never experienced the bitterness or gritty taste.?.? The location that my drink is still consistently the same is in Blackhawk Colorado. When they have any changes in coffee, straws, equipment, etc. They are very upfront and apologetic about such things. They don't make excuses and they do not play the 'blame game.' I truly appreciate that.”

“Good vegan blueberry pancakes. Some may say small portions but so is the price! Get 2 orders if you’re real hungry. They put soy cream cheese icing on my carrot cake muffin so unfortunately I was unable to enjoy that. Thanks for responding- we did immediately mention when we came in and placed our to-go order that I couldn’t have any soy but we were never told while we were there that there was a soy free icing option. That would’ve been great to mention while there at the counter for 5 minutes. (Took 30 minutes to get 4 pancakes) I did feel while we were there that the owner lacked knowledge in vegan friendly and allergy friendly cuisine (although I do appreciate the option) and the fact they mention on a review reply that there was soy free icing and didn’t tell me while I there confirms my point. We arrived a few minutes after opening and there was only vegan carrot muffins and 1 type of donut to choose from for fresh baked goods. He told us when we walked in that it would be awhile to get other baked treats. Agree with other reviews that for a ‘bakery’ they don’t have much baked stuff prepared as promised.”

“Food was good. Restaurant was clean. For a Saturday I was expecting it to much busier but there was only one other party there, quiet enough my baby slept the entire time I was there. I got the Colorado burrito, green chili was spicy which I was surprised since it’s a coffee shop. Too bad it’s so far north or I would return again.”

“My wife and I ordered two gift baskets then the day before we were scheduled to pick them up I stopped in to see if we could add a couple more. I was greeted with a big smile by a very friendly lady that took time to help me and acted glad to accommodate my last minute request. The very next morning I stopped in to get some breakfast treats for my bride and the young lady that greeted me this time was very cheerful and helped me pick out yet another gift basket and helped me load my baskets into my vehicle. Exceptional service, friendly and professional in every way!!!!”

He attended the dining area very well and checked with myself and other guests to make sure we had the best experience. I don’t know who put him in charge but they made a great choice. McDonalds is back on the map as of the last year or so as a whole with customer service and this location is a shining example of what I expect when I give someone my hard earned money. “Smoothies are great, however a good majority of the time I come in, they seem to be short handed and the wait for a smoothie can be 10-15 min. long. The last visit was on a Saturday around 3 pm, weekend before Christmas, and there was just one employee. Need to get another person to help-at least on the weekends!”
