“I really want this place to be great. I’m rooting for it and will continue getting takeout from here as they work out the kinks. I’ve eaten here 4 times and while the service for takeout is great, and the ease of online ordering exceptional, the food needs work. So do the wait time estimates for takeout. 30 minute estimate every time but when I arrive at the end of that time window I suspect food has been sitting there for a while and is warm and any breading (sesame chicken, gyoza) has gotten soggy and noodles overcooked. I find that most dishes need more sauce or more flavor. Of the ones I’ve tried this is true for pad Thai, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, drunken noodle. Prices are fair for the area and with a little tweak to some recipes it will be a place I look forward to eating at.”

“wow. yes. you know when you can just tell a place is run by women? This is that place. It's clean, it's fresh, it's beautiful, and you just feel at ease here. Yall, it's 2021 and stuff is expensive - not because it's overpriced but because it's wildly expensive to run a business, especially a beautifully and specifically curated one like Hovey & Harrison. Take some time to peruse the small market that's inside. Buy a fresh baked goodie. Get a bottle of wine to share at your table. Get the hummus and whatever seasonal salad they have. Sit outside and enjoy the patio and then explore Edwards :) Love it when I get to go to Hovey & Harrison.”

“Fresh sushi in the mountains! Great location in Avon. I'm always suspicious about getting ocean and sea products up in the mountains, but this place has it nail. It's a very light cozy atmosphere indoors in the food is great. The chefs are fast and accurate. To get fresh tuna rolls in the mountains is it true miracle. Miso soup and shots of sake are sure to warm you to the bones.”

“Love this place, and it’s right by my house so I am always so tempted to go there. The food is amazing, I try to get something different every time I go and I haven’t been disappointed yet. My favorite is that they have lemon slices out for your tea which is just one of the little things that makes me love this place. The staff is always friendly even when I have been staring at the menu for a while, desperately trying to decide on something. I recommend this place to anyone in the area.”

“Gashouse is a favorite place for us and many of our out-of-town family and friends when they come to visit. On our last trip, our group tried the bison steak, lamb and beef steak. All were excellent, flavorful and well prepared in line with our order. Wine was good, beer was cold and the service was attentive. We are happy that Gashouse survived the summer of roundabout construction. We are hoping that they will figure out how to add stairs up to the new sidewalk to make it convenient for people who want to walk to the restaurant.”
