“The Best Restaurant in Vail just got better! It is always a special night to go to Sweet Basil. They have added “The Sweet Basil Experience”. This is an amazing chefs choice dinner. The whole table does it and it is truly a wonderful dinner. We had the waiter pare wine for every one of the 5 courses. Food was great! And you get to taste so many different things and you don’t have to think. Kudos to Sweet Basil for bring this to the menu. 6 stars out of 5”

Restaurant

“One of the only riverfront restaurants in the vail village area, providing great outdoor seating during the spring and summer months, making it one of the most enjoyable patio spots in Vail and the mountains. It will fill up on a sunny day and during event weekends, so be prepared to go early or to have to wait. Plenty of area for dogs, an overall great place to enjoy a beer or snack”

El Segundo Vail

Address: 223 Gore Creek Dr, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Restaurant

“Our group of 15 loved the food! I somehow ordered more of a southern take on Mexican food - fried chicken taco and Brussels sprouts, but the burritos and more traditional Mexican food looked amazing. We thought the service was great, even with such a large group and a completely full restaurant. Thank you for hosting a wonderful birthday dinner!”

Two Arrows Coffee | Bar

“Amazing breakfast burritos. Really.”

Loaded Joe's - Vail

Address: 242 E Meadow Dr, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“Modern breakfast cafe with limited food choices and basic counter service. Spacious location with limited seating. We had the parfait and sausage breakfast sandwich with two coffees. The sandwich was a little overheated making the brioche crispy on the edges. Overall good for a quick in and out breakfast.”

Vendetta's Restaurant

Address: 291 Bridge St, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Restaurant

“Food was very good. We both enjoyed our meals. They have a good beer list. Service was quite good. If you want bread, apparently you have to order the garlic bread. Bread does not come with the meal. For an Italian restaurant, this is a negative in my mind.”

Pepi's Bar & Restaurant

Address: 231 Gore Creek Dr, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Restaurant

“This place is special to us. It's where we had our first date over 14 years ago. We've been married now for 12 years and we try to go back every now and then to reminisce about that memorable day. Pepi's specializes in traditional European dishes, which is a perfect compliment to their location. Vail has a kind of European "feel" and eating here you might forget that you are still in the United States. The portions at Pepi's are always generous, and the cuts of meat are always top notch! They even offer vegetarian options if that's your thing. Combine great food with their friendly attentive service and you get an outstanding casual dining experience. Their outdoor deck is the perfect setting to enjoy the fresh air in the beautiful Colorado mountains. What more can you ask for? Just don't remind my wife that she spilled red cabbage on her white shirt on our first date. While she was mortified at the time, it couldn't have been that bad since we've been together ever since!”

Joe's Famous Deli

Address: 288 Bridge St, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Restaurant

“Nice deli with a friendly staff. The food was very good. while we did not have any the ice creall looked even better. overall a nice lunch.”

Los Amigos

Address: 400 Bridge St, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Restaurant

“I love this place. We eat here frequently because the food and service are top notch. My husband and I shared the fajitas chicken/steak. The steak and chicken are seasoned perfectly...juicy and tender. All the other fixings are super fresh and just so tasty. Start with chips and delicious salsa. Last but not least..all staff are very friendly and really want you to have a great experience. 10 stars!”

Fall Line Kitchen & Cocktails

Address: 232 Bridge St, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Restaurant

“This restaurant is how you can turn a negative to a positive experience. We made a reservation from overseas several weeks before we were due to dine at Fall Line Kitchen. This was made and then confirmed over the phone. When we arrived to dine there was no record of out reservation. Despite being a busy night and a large group, they made it happen. The service was fantastic, the cocktails were not your typical offerings (you can still get an excellent margarita if that floats your boat) but beautifully presented and very, very good. Food was excellent and while more than enough it a wasn’t the massive heaving plate which I know some Americans feel they need to achieve value but I don’t want to take home half my meal. Let’s face it, how on earth is it ever going to be any good the next day? Just give me quality and a smaller serving. Well done guys.”

Red Lion

Address: 304 Bridge St #1, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Night club Restaurant

“Red Lion is an icon of Vail. It's stayed pretty much the same for the last several decades and provide everyone including families with a friendly atmosphere. No worries if you have kids, they are welcome here. It is one of the better Apres Ski spots right in the heart of Vail Village. Frequent live music and a fun atmosphere. A small outdoor deck with 6-8 tables. Not a bad place to people watch. Make no mistake.. This is bar food. Only problem is the prices - which as you would expect in Vail are on the high end.”

Crespelle

Address: 278 Hanson Ranch Rd, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Restaurant

“My husband and I were vacationing in Red Cliff, but stopped in Vail to shop and grab a bite. I saw Crespelle had gluten free crepes, so we stopped in. My husband had a very tasty beer, and we each ordered a crepe. They were delicious!!! The bartender was very nice and attentive, and we loved the environment so much, we went back two more times! Definitely hit this up when you’re in Vail!”

Big Bear Bistro

Address: 297 Hanson Ranch Rd, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Meal takeaway Cafe Restaurant

“Great little spot near Gondola One. Small but cozy with a friendly staff. Great breakfast and lunch at a fair price (inexpensive for Vail!). Eat here for lunch instead of paying twice as much for half as good on the mountain. They also have a small vegan menu which I really appreciate!”

Almresi Vail

Address: 298 Hanson Ranch Rd, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Restaurant

“I lived in Germany and Austria for over 10 years and love this place for the authenticity of food and their decoration. However when I had their pork Schnitzel a few days ago I was really disappointed. It is a processed piece of patty and so off from what a real Schnitzel is supposed o be. They were kind enough to replace the dish but it was another processed piece of meat. That was really disappointing.”

The George Restaurant & Pub

Address: 292 E Meadow Dr, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Restaurant

“This is such a fun dive bar, but don't let the dive fool you. They have excellent food and cocktails; and a happy hour that is unbeatable. Most dinners and appetizers on the menu are $10 and drinks $5 during happy hour. The food and drinks are great! I love the Sheppard's pie if you are looking for a stick to your ribs meal after a hard day of skiing. I also love the casual atmosphere with all the couches.”

Terra Bistro

Address: 352 E Meadow Dr, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Restaurant

“Writing this while I am sitting on the bar after a happy hour.. this is the best happy hour in town folks. They opens at 5 p when the happy hour starts and it's till 6 p. I am here two days in a row and the tuna Terra tots is my favorite so far. It's little spicy, perfect match with the cold weather outside. And don't miss this drink if you are a fan of herbs.. "Herb Your Enthusiasm".”

Golden Peak Grill

Address: 456 Vail Valley Dr, Vail, CO 81657, USA

“The food is great but its just not enough to fill you up. So its a great place to go if ur not to hungry”

Larkspur Events & Dining

Address: 458 Vail Valley Dr, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Restaurant

“The entire Larkspur team created a fabulous Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party for my husband and me. The appetizers were unique and delicious - guests are still talking about them weeks later. The main course was delicious and the desserts were elegant. The venue was classy and my guests and I had a blast. The staff was great leading up to the event because they were patient walking us through all our options and never rushed us. They were helpful and positive. The place looked beautiful, the staff was fun and food delicious - I highly recommend Larkspur for your next event.”

The Fitz Bar & Restaurant

Address: 595 Vail Valley Dr, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Restaurant

“Perfect dinner. Beautiful views with floor to ceiling windows, delicious food that’s reasonably priced and our server, Clayton was helpful and accommodating. We came with your two year old son, without a reservation and they were able to sit us by the window. A must stop if you’re in Vail!”

The 10th

Address: Main Vail, Vail, CO 81658, USA

Restaurant

“A magical way to finish the day with a ski-in-ski-out cocktail by the fire in the bar. Cozy Acorn slippers make returning to ski boots a challenge, but never fear, Gondola One is there to download if you find yourself in an overly relaxed state. Though doing the “sweep” with Ski Patrol can be quite memorable too. Wishing they still served dinner.”

Mango's Mountain Grill

Address: 166 Eagle St, Red Cliff, CO 81649, USA

Restaurant

“Excellent service by Mike! Very friendly and efficient! Food was delicious too. We had the burger with beer cheese and a fun variation of a chimichanga. Would definitely recommend!”

Grill on the Gore

Address: 1775 Sunburst Dr, Vail, CO 81657, USA

Restaurant

“This was an unexpected treat after a day of snow activities. They have a soup buffet that smelled terrific when you walked in. Soups, Buffalo chili, artisan breads, and cornbread were on the menu. The cornbread looked and tasted fabulous. Not all cornbread is created equal and these stood out. One had Fresno and/or jalapeno peppers, and the other had cheese. The soup won reviews from my girlfriend. They also serve melts. I ordered the special melt of the day which was pork belly with coleslaw which was served with chutney and a salad. Again, an unexpected gourmet treat. Everything was very tasty. The restaurant is super clean and the staff is very friendly, helpful, courteous, and efficient. This was an all-around pleasant experience I hope to duplicate.”
