“This place has some of the most authentic Mexican food in the state of Colorado. They don't overspice everything, they let the food speak for itself. They also didn't wuss out on loading the beef tacos with meat and lettuce (fresh lettuce, might I add). Taco Del Gordo means Fat Man's Taco, and the tacos I had surely fits the description. I heavily recommend this place to anyone in Fountain or surrounding areas. If I could give this place 6 state, I would.”

“If you are looking for genuine, juicy Texas style BBQ, then look no further. Gold Tooth Annie's is one of the best barbecue eateries I've had since coming to Colorado. My husband ordered a pulled pork sandwich plus coleslaw with baked beans and potato salad on the side. I got a brisket sandwich with coleslaw and potato salad on the side. The sandwiches were to die for, the meat was really tender and the coleslaw was a perfect pair to go with and one of the best we've ever had. My husband also got a stuffed jalapeño pepper and he claims it was great. It was wrapped with bacon and stuffed with cream cheese and brisket with a sweet bourbon glaze on the outside. I'll definitely come back here again. Mr. Mike is a great guy with some even better BBQ.”

And they have a beer cooler! The staff has always been very friendly to me. I go every Wednesday for $8 any pizza and it is sooo much better than pizza restaurants. My co-worker has never had the type of food she had for lunch today. The hospitality was laid back and comfortable. Food was great and tasty, for the first time visit my co-worker wants to got back and try a different plate. She enjoyed her lunch/food which was tasty and filling. If you are every in Colorado Springs you will need to check the small business off Academy, it servers several different Hawaiian Plates. Stop by the "Roots Cafe" My Aloha and Mahalo for making my co-worker feel like family.”

“The burger taco was Delicious and unique. Loved their home made taco shells, home made fried with sea salt, and some good old fashioned root beer to wash it down. The music station they chose constantly changed genre which was a plus for us. We got to hear country, pop, and some late 90s rap. Fun times. Would recommend maybe some slip resistant shoes as the floors were pretty greasy, but we had a laugh with staff as they have definitely tried hard... Them new floor tiles ain't letting that grease go to save their life. Lol. Fair prices. We were shocked at how large the orders were ND they bring em right out to the table for ya. I'd say worth the trip and worth the $20 we spent.”

“Folks, I am telling you to stop by and get some food here. As a lifelong Kansas City resident, I will say to you that this man is doing barbecue RIGHT. Perfectly cooked meat, tender with just the right amount of smokey flavor. Homemade sauces are killer. I got a pulled pork sandwich and homemade deviled egg potato salad, and almost forgot that I left my hometown. The owner is absolutely one of the kindest and most grateful people I've met, and he's a maniac at barbecue. I'm going back tomorrow for more, and I'm sad I've got to leave town in a few days, because I'd be a regular.”

I have to say specifically, today, their was a woman at the window in the drive through window, she was the sweetest with her compliments, I loved her energy and I want her to know she's an amazing human being.
