“Stumbled across this delightful brew pub/ gastropub and the family was much happier for it. We got seated immediately and ordered a few appetizers, meals and drinks. Everything we tasted was delicious - burger meat was really special (my picky eater son said it was the best he'd ever had!), Jalepeno poppers were great, smoked pork tacos were awesome and the drinks were refreshing. We'll be up rating this establishment for sure!”

“It was great to pop in here. It's bustling with conversation and you see a great mixture of regulars and people passing through. The coffee is great and the staff is kind and helpful. One batista explained that their lavender syrup is made in house and that is probably why their honey lavender latte tastes a bit better than most coffee spots. Bonus points for a great waffle”

“The patio at the beer garden is incredible, with a great view of the river. The service is a little slow, but very friendly. I got the Ruben and enjoyed it. The sauerkraut was apple based instead of cabbage which was interesting, but I liked it.”

“Best burger you'll ever taste. I got a bacon and sautéed mushroom single, and my boyfriend got a fried egg double. Both with KGB sauce and fries. We also got some Buffalo wings that were delicious. AMAZING!!!”

“I live in Phoenix and travel through Durango frequently so I have made a habit of trying new restaurants each time I am there. El Moro was fantastic. The service was amazing from start to finish, the food was delicious, and their menu was expansive in both food and drinks. The decor was so well put together and it created a fun and cozy vibe. The bathroom was also super cute and clean. I’ll definitely be back soon, if only just for a drink at the bar.”

“What a wonderful breakfast spot! Everyone was so friendly and the food was enormous portions of delicious comfort food. I had the two eggs, ham, and toast breakfast plate. But they let me substitute a pancake instead of the toast. And let me tell you the pancake was huge and took up its own plate! We also had the breakfast burrito. All your favorites in one huge burrito. They had tables for seating but we sat at the bar on padded stools. Liked their food and casual chill atmosphere so much that we got stickers!”

“We were fortunate to dine on the last day of a few summer specials the restaurant was running. I started with a wonderful Palisade peach martini, which was fabulous and not sweet at all. We ordered a bowl of corn bisque to share, which was absolutely divine. My dining partner enjoyed her vegetarian stuffed poblano chili and I enjoyed my seabass with Palisade peach salsa as well. Hannah, our server, was efficient and pleasant.”

“A small local cafe with adequate variety of food & beverages. Stopped by twice at Oscar’s Cafe during the trip in July - once for lunch to dine in and next morning for breakfast takeout. Service - 5 stars Food Variety - 5 stars Taste & portion - 5 stars Value for money - 5 stars Waiting time - 5 stars Ambience - 4 stars - definitely a busy place and it may not be very convenient to dine in if you have toddlers / you did stop by during busy hours. We got there during off hours (about an hour before closing time) for lunch, so we didn’t have to wait longer to be seated. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the scenic view. Looked very busy in the morning next day. People were waiting in a long queue to order food / dine in. However, since we had preordered the breakfast for take out, it was quick as a wink. Grabbed the food and went to Rossa park which was in about two minutes driving distance from Oscar’s cafe. If you don’t mind enjoying your breakfast in a park and want to save some time from waiting in the queue, you may opt for a take out. All in all, it was a nice experience. Food was filling and each order came with a side. So, make sure you consider the portion before ordering multiple menu items.”

“Neat experience with a live piano playing. Customer service was great! Seated pretty quickly. The food was phenomenal. Chicken fried steak was cooked to perfection. Pot roast was placed over mashed potatos. Bourbon mix drink options were also great! It's a little tight for seating though.”

“The view was nice and we kinda had the place to ourselves. The waitresses super accommodating. My shredded pork nachos had better flavor than the mexicN restaurant I went to earlier that day .👍”

“The food and atmosphere was lovely! We were greeted by the chef. My husband had ostrich just to say he had it and was not disappointed! I had bison and tortellini that was out of this world! It's a very small venue and intimate. The music is on point. Hands down would visit again!”

“I loved this bar! Callie was a great waitress. The atmosphere was amazing! The mousse was to die for. The drinks were also really good. The live music was nice as well. You can explore a little of the hotel when you go in too. It was such a cool experience.”

“Our family loves this place! This family run restaurant has great food and excellent service. I apologize for the poor photo, I got excited and ate a taco and most of my rice before capturing the beautiful plate.”

“This place felt like home! Great service and friendly smiles. The picture posted is, you won’t believe it, a veggie patty! I had to double check with my delightful bartender to ensure it was vegetarian. It was :) So delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit”

“Really good burger and great pop! Cool restaurant with great food. I got my food fairly quick and the staff was nice and helpful as well. I got the bacon cheddar burger with fries. The burger had great taste the only thing I would have done differently is not get the chipotle mayo I just wasn't a fan of it, it wasn't bad just not my style. Other than that the fries were great and the pop was good too, they had a bunch of different pops that you don't normally see. Overall good food and I would recommend stopping by!”

“Staff is very professional and the ambience is calm and very low noise level. You can actually talk to your dining companion. This Elk was absolutely amazing. Tender, so full of flavor. This is just 1/2 portion as I split it with my friend. Just amazing.”

“Traditional french bakery with antique and rustic ambiance serving amazing pastries and breads with bottomless mimosas and other cocktails. Visited here for brunch and had a really great experience, home made jams were the highlight. They do have good breakfast and lunch options to choose from.”

“Big breakfast of traditional eggs and pancakes with plenty of variety. Beautiful paintings of old West and western decor. A old time cafe feel and good prices. Our omelets were very good and almost too much to eat.”

“First time visiting here from out of town and the pizza was hot and fresh and hit the spot. The kids loved it and the local soda is worth a try for sure! Was shocked that the strawberry rhubarb was clear and vanilla cream was dark. Root beer was a kid favorite. Would definitely recommend this place”

“Fantastic Creme Brule. They made our 1st anniversary special. Had the cedar plank salmon which was tasty. Also, blackened ribeye was pretty yummy. Order medium rare if you want medium. It was a bit too charred for me. Reasonably priced. Beautiful patio in the back.”

“I grew up in Europe as a child, these are the best crepes ever! A MUST stop. Also the most beautiful little flower covered patio. We got the lemon creme and the ham and gruyer cheese.”

“I had a wonderful experience at this establishment! My wife has a severe gluten allergy, so it’s hard to find a place that will take this into account but Sizzling Siam did! Not only this, but they have already pre-marked which dishes are gluten free, and they make sure to prepare them in a way as to not cross contaminate. The costumer service and the food itself was wonderful! We both got medium spice as we really like spicy and this definitely met our expectations. As a side note, if you’re not really into spice try the mild or regular. I will definitely be going back again!”

“Our family is from Austin, TX so we know a thing or two about tacos. Every trip to Durango we eat at Nini’s at least once if not more. Love the different salsa options. Margarita’s are good too! Nice patio out back where you can bring your dog. Great local place!”

“Great food! Would highly recommend. I personally love the Pad Thai with veggies and tofu. The food is hot! Make sure to order with-in your heat range. They do not have indoor seating at the moment. They do have seats outside with heaters though.”

“This place was fun and different, outdoor seating on a nice evening, with 4 or more food trucks to choose from. Everyone got something they liked, though the rice bowls were the best. The only reason I docked a star was for the price, it was pretty expensive.”

“I say this confidently, this is most definitely the best sushi i have ever had in my life. My sushi order, the Lava roll, was deep fried but had an amazing light crisp to it. I enjoyed every single piece on that plate. My mom ordered the Saigon Noodle bowl, and it was also delightful. I am so happy we got to this place as it opened, because it is a small space with not a lot of seating. If you plan to go here, get there as it opens or a couple minutes after! These guys do know what they are doing with this place though, keep it up!”

“Every single thing tastes amazing. I can't even get over the fresh perfect dynamic flavors. We tried beet lemon kombucha, blueberry kombucha, a Thai grain bowl, a Vietnamese salad, and chips and fermented salsa and everything was delicious. I can't wait to come back.”
