“Had take out chicken enchilada and Chili Relleno crispy. This food was well prepared and presented. They give you chips and salsa. I have eaten at an enormous number of Mexican Restaurants in my 65 years, the food itself was pretty good, the salsa on the other hand was out of this world flavorful. This time, with no customers waiting, 5 workers were standing around visiting while the salsa area needed refilled and cleaned, and the dining area had several dirty tables. Having worked at jobs like this with young employees, I know keeping the dining room neat must be taught as an expectation by management. So, teach them, and expect it! ???? “Fantastic new venue! My wife and I stopped in for dinner this weekend and it was extraordinary. We were seated and served quickly, the ambiance and energy were fantastic. My wife enjoyed a delicious gluten free pasta with meatballs and I tried my best to finish a delicious pizza. In addition to a great wine and draft beer selection, we enjoyed a classic Coors Banquet bottle. “We're from out of town, so unfortunately can only come when we're visiting. There is NOTHING NOT TO LOVE about the Rock Inn Mountain Tavern. We've yet to have a dish, a drink, or a side that isn't absolutely perfect. The service is also perfect. Last night, we had Laney as our server and she was amazing. Friendly, funny, and crazy attentive at the same time. I waited to give the manager a compliment about her in person, but she was also running around so busy making sure people were happy, I decided not to bother her. Hopefully, they read these reviews! Anyway, great spot and HIGHLY recommend.”

“My boyfriend and I went here on 02/02/20 at about 1pm. We placed our order and were waiting in line (about 7-10 minutes) but not really minding as it was super bowl sunday afternoon and they're usually very fast with our orders. The car in front of us drove off without their orders and as we pulled up to the window, the car behind us backed out. We pulled up to the window and there were only two workers from what we see (Tammy and Tanner we believe) who were frantic and super apologetic for the wait. My boyfriend and I work customer service and just kept telling them it was okay and no rush since they said they were understaffed. Even so they offered us discounts, apologized profusely, and gave us the made drinks for the customers who abandoned them. Overall we left feeling great because they were still very nice and friendly the whole time despite the stress. I hope we got their names right because they really do deserve the praise since I would 100% go back after the situation.”

There are several TVs for watching sports. The last time we went, the owner was walking around checking on each table and cracking jokes, he was a lot of fun.
