“WOW! GREAT view w/ Bay Windows & delicious food. Located directly in the front rooms of the Stanley Hotel. Suggesting the Blueberry Mimosa! All of the food was extremely good! Was surprised their was no wait late March on a Sunday morning! I definitely suggested walking around a bit after your meal because the Stanley Hotel is truly unique! Overall impressed.”

“Beautiful new place! We went for happy hour on Thursday, sat at the bar and had some delicious small appetizer plates. The beer was decent. The only reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because I went the next day with another friend for dinner and it was pretty pricey even for Estes. My friend got a chicken strip basket and a beer and his total was over $30 with tip. I got a small side salad and fried chicken thigh for $16. Also, the bathroom downstairs is a bit of an inconvenience.”

“Had the Brie and ham panini. Great flavor, and good balance with the jam and apples. Bread was super fresh, cut the roof of my mouth a bit. But it’s the better trade off over store bought bread. Cool vibe, the two person chef team cranked out our order. Looks like speed is greatly improved as we were the 5th group of people when we got there”

“Came in for Dine Around. It was great food and very nice people! I’ll be back for sure.”

“The restaurant is colorful and decorated with portraits of Mexican icons. The staff was very nice. Even though it is a Mexican restaurant, my kids ordered nuggets and hamburger and ate it all with fries. I ordered the whole fired monaural and it was delicious and well cooked. My wife had some tasty street tacos. All in all we would come back again.”

“The restaurant is pretty inside and extremely clean. I found the service excellent. The food I ordered tasted very fresh and the portion was quite substantial. My friend loved her dish. We are locals and both agreed we would come back again. Note; we are both vegan and didn't have any trouble communicating that we didn't want eggs or meat.”

“Good old fashioned phill cheese steak, perfectly cooked and perfectly priced. Filling too! Highly recommend”

“We have returned to this favorite lodge again and again. Great people providing great and kind service. Amazing location. The owners are delightful people who are working to keep improving what is offered also. Twin Owls Steak House is a top tier restaurant with much more than great steak to offer. The views are amazing!”

“The restaurant was open my last night staying here at the hotel and the food was incredible. I got a double stacked cheddar burger that came with fries. I met Michael, the owner, and he mentioned how he let his employees take the night off because he thought it was going to be slow but instead, he got slammed so him and the chef had to hold down the fort. Did an excellent job and again, the food was amazing. Highly recommend. ?”

“Amy Amos was AMAZING to work with. The venue was nice, and the string lighting was a really cute and fun bonus, but Amy made everything come together! She was always prompt, responsive, and helpful, and she went above and beyond helping us set up and clean up for our rehearsal dinner and farewell brunch. I wish I had pictures to share!”

“A great place to stop for lunch while you're around the park. Since this restaurant is near the park entrance, we thought it might be a bad deal, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food and service were great. There is a nice selection of breakfast food, sandwiches, wraps, and burgers. Prices are reasonable - only slightly higher than they might be elsewhere. Nice views of the mountains from indoor and outdoor tables.”

“The gift shop is like if you grandma was a hoarder and owned a gift shop. There is literally something for everyone. A hidden gem for burgers & sandwiches. If you buy something in the gift shop, you get 15% off on the restaurant.”

“My favorite steakhouse in Estes Park hands down. The staff are friendly, efficient and easy to interact with. The place is kept clean. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is great and an amazing place for a date night, family time, or hanging out with friends. I completely recommend giving this restaurant a try. I recommend trying the prime rib. It's one of the best I've had! But overall you can't go wrong with any choice.”

“This place is small inside with some counter seating, so take-out might be your best choice. They have limited menu choices and no attempts to make vegetarian or vegan options. My partner said her breakfast was average so there is no reason for us to return.”

“So good. If I wasn't restricted on carbs, I would have really loved to try other dishes. Had a cheese tray that was amazing and the simple salad with buttermilk and chive dressing. Boys had steak and eggs. Generous portions. Loved the place. Very unique food and wonderful staff. You are definitely making your mark in Estes. Will be back.”

“We're from out of town, so unfortunately can only come when we're visiting. There is NOTHING NOT TO LOVE about the Rock Inn Mountain Tavern. We've yet to have a dish, a drink, or a side that isn't absolutely perfect. The service is also perfect. Last night, we had Laney as our server and she was amazing. Friendly, funny, and crazy attentive at the same time. I waited to give the manager a compliment about her in person, but she was also running around so busy making sure people were happy, I decided not to bother her. Hopefully, they read these reviews! Anyway, great spot and HIGHLY recommend.”

“We had a great experience trying the different foods. I would describe the restaurant as modern twist to the typical American food. The atmosphere is nice and refreshing. The restaurant is kept clean. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The food was great and priced reasonably. I recommend giving them a try. The Mac and cheese is a great option.”

“The food was amazing! We had pasta and and drinks and the avalanche chocolate cake for dessert. The atmosphere is very cool. It's pretty pricey but the drinks are strong and the portions are huge. We would definitely go there again!”

“I love small, cozy places too easy work great good and this one is one I would visit again. Good is fresh and a wider atmosphere. Tucked back outside of town when you'll see elk lounging and grazing on grass. I think everyone I went here I saw elk grazing. They have a full menu with less of options.”

“Great food. Very friendly staff. Prices seemed a little higher than I wanted to pay. Relaxed friendly environment. Family owned and operated. I've been several times and I will likely go back when I am in town. Good choice - good food.”

“Wapiti was a great first stop for us in Estes Park. It provided us with food that, we came to realize in Colorado, is the majority of the time very fresh. The atmosphere was great and the service was even better. One mistake I made was I ordered the burger. The mistake was not that the burger was bad, it was that everything else looked so good when it was brought out. Venture out and try something different. Highly recommended”

“Really good burgers. Don't let the location in the gas station fool you. We went through the drive thru. They make their burgers fresh so it does take a little more time than fast food which is probably a good thing.”

“My mom and I stopped in here after not feeling welcome at another close by restaurant. We loved this place. Our waiter, Ricky, was very friendly and provided quick service. We shared the triple platter (ribs, pulled pork, 1/2 roasted chicken) with slaw, baked beans, and corn. It all tasted delicious! The price was reasonable. It was way too much for us to eat. The location is easily accessible and plenty of parking. I would eat here again.”

“Good food and coffee. Great place to check out the pond and and feed some duckies! They have a supply of duck food for $1 that you can buy. It's a decent size cup of duck food. If you're heading into Ricky Mountain National Park, stop here for a cup of Joe.”

“Self-described "world famous". They are burgers and fries and milkshakes. Lots of customization options though, including type of meat. Order at counter and they give you a number- tables to sit at at. All you can eat ketchup.”

“Average bar food, and decent beer. Better of both can easily be found outside of Estes, but if you are in town wanting a meal at a brewery, this is it. It's not bad, but not necessarily good either. Nothing about it that made us feel we have to go back.. The tasting counter is great, though. If you go here definitely take advantage of it.”
