Good food served in a nice atmosphere. The waitress was a little flaky, but that didn’t detract from the experience and rating. We had the chicken fried steak and hamburger. Both delicious.
I highly recommend this little bistro! If you are just passing through stop in here and get some quality food! The atmosphere was nice the staff was great and the presentation of the food was fantastic! I just ordered a burger with a side salad with blue cheese dressing and they blew it out of the park! Also their carrot soup was absolutely delicious! 🙌
We went there before leaving Cortez. The atmosphere was nice. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated even though there were plenty of empty tables, which many still had used dishes and glasses. They were clearly understaffed. But all the working staff were very friendly and did their best to serve.
I had their Bratwurst. Both the pretzel bun and the pork bratwurst were not as fresh as they should be, but the flavor was good. My companion had a miso soup and it was just okay. It tasted a bit like they used the miso soup mix which you could buy at supermarket and added tofu and mushrooms.
Because their staff were so friendly, we could see ourselves going back there if we ever return to Cortez.
The ambiance was great. But the food was pretty average.
We got the risotto and honestly I've had better risottos. We also got the pesto penne pasta which was okay as well.
For the price, the quality and taste wasn't there.
We called beforehand to place an order over the phone. But they took really really long to get our order ready.
Overall I'm not sure how I feel about it. I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone.
We stopped in for lunch for my family of 5 after seeing the menu online. Unfortunately, they were out of the meal I went there for (which happens at "fresh" restaurants), but I easily found something else! The service was very friendly and fast, and the food was fresh and tasty. My kids had burgers, which were pretty good, though not the best they've ever had. I ordered the house made black bean burger, which was out if this world delicious, especially for a bean burger! I also had the fried zucchini salad, which was good, especially the dressing. The fries were super good! I also really enjoyed the ambiance of the place, and the prices were very fair for the quality of food. Overall, we recommend giving this local spot a try!
