I got the brisket grilled cheese sandwich with a side of cheesy potatoes. Absolutely incredible. I could only eat half of it, and had to get the rest to go.
The service was good at lunch time. The young lady serving was delightful, friendly, and very attentive.
The atmosphere was somewhat quiet and seemed kind of sparse, but it felt clean and well maintained.
Prices weren't bad for the amount of food (especially how much meat was on the sandwich). Though, the mac-n-cheese seemed a little high. However, I did not order mac-n-cheese, so it may have been a massive serving of it.

Overall, I would definitely go again.

This is SUCH an amazing spot to eat at. We’re from Denver but doing a small road trip and passed through Cortez. We needed something to eat and decided to come here and we are in love. We had the sliders, tacos, and mac n cheese and were all so happy with the food. We ended up coming back the next day because it was so good and got the Gouda fries and our mouths were in heaven. The alcoholic drinks are very tasty but also isn’t super weak. I wish we had one in Denver and we’d be there every day! I was going to post pictures of our food but it was so good I forgot and ate it all 🥴

This place was great. The family loved their food and the service was great. The waitress was fun and friendly and kept up with our needs. The water was wet and the ice was cold. What more can you ask for after spending the day in Mesa Verde. I had the beer cheese pretzel burger with mac and cheese. They even burned my burger just the way I asked. The wife had the porky and drunken cow sliders with fries and side salad. Thing 1 and thing 2 had side salads with side mac & cheese. Thing 3 got the firecracker burger with mac & cheese. Borrowed thing 4 got porky and piglet and blue cow sliders with mac & cheese. All made with love and superb. We will be back next time we travel through Cortez.

We stopped here for lunch as we passed through town and we’re surprised at the superb flavors, variety of options and the “home-made” approach to the menu. We had burgers that were done to perfection. The sides are better than you will expect. The friendly waitress suggested we try the dessert, which was cinnamon roll bread pudding. Very unique, with excellent flavor. All of this for what I felt was a very reasonable price. You will be happy if you stop here.

The greeting was full of sunshine.
Service on point. Onion loaf worth the price. BBQ sauce a bit sweet; I’m a savory connoisseur. I wanted ribs as displayed online but no longer offered on the menu. Brisket nachos , plenty of meat. Glad we stopped in. Thank you for a brightness to our day. May your business be blessed.
