“Took a shot in the dark and booked a 3 night stay at their campground in a premium riverside site. It's rare to find a 50 amp site with water and sewer in the dead of winter! The views were second to none at their property. Perfect views of the river and mountain backdrop. The property has phenomenal accomodations and the hosts were beyond wonderful to speak with. Facilities that they offer are great from fuel, to laundry and nice, clean showers. We will be staying with them again in the future for sure! Thanks again folks, we are sold on this location.”

“I really wanted to leave this very cool restaurant a 5 star review and I would if it were based on my meal only. Let me explain: the large menu portion had 3 entrees - they were out of 2. Bummer. The bean hummus was excellent, plated beautifully, but not much hummus or beans. The baked feta was excellent too. Toasted bread with both great. Considering we had 2 apps and shared the sturgeon large plate (excellent but served with nothing but olive tapenade), I thought pricey. I'm ok with all of that until the bill came with 5% KITCHEN LIVEABLE WAGE FEE WHICH GOES DIRECTLY TO PROVIDING OUR HARD CULINARY TEAM WITH A LIVEABLE WAGE...I was and am fuming. Shouldn't the employer be providing liveable wages? Sorry, I won't be recommending or visiting this place again.”

“We live a little over an hour away and Bella Vino was recommended to us. It is excellent and the deck overlooking the San Juan Mountains is spectacular. We enjoyed an appetizer, salad and entree. Since it was a birthday celebration, we had Tiramusu with a candle, oh and a fine wine list too! We'll be back!”

“I ordered a salmon poke bowl. Salmon is fresh and rice is at the correct temperature. Avocado adds an extra creamy texture to the sauce. Green onion was not chopped well but you can't ask too much at a mountain town market. Food is delicious.”

“The restaurant has two sections. One is indoors and the other is called the Sky Bar. This is part outdoors and the other part is covered but still outside. On a Saturday they had a musician playing. It was busy but calm. We had oysters on the half shell. For our entree we had trout almandine. That's how they spelled it. The fresh grilled vegetables were the best. They have a drink menu. My husband had non alcoholic beer on draft. He hardly ever can get non alcoholic beer in a bottle let alone on tap. He enjoyed that. Our server was really good.”

“The breakfast burritos here are the perfect pre-hike breakfast! They are delicious and pre- made so they are very easy to grab and go in the morning and still have something high quality. They also have a vegetarian option! They also have a huge selection of other unique foods/snacks and drinks. A great spot to have in town :)”

“Can't say enough good things about Kate's place! First off, our server Jen was absolutely fantastic. The place was slammed yet she seamlessly managed the door while also tending to all her tables, and was just wonderful to us. The food was absolutely fire. The green chili sauce is next level, the portions are great, and the breakfast sandwich and potato wedges are huge highlights. The pancakes were delicious as well. What a little gem. So glad we stopped here on our way from Ouray back to Denver!”

“This is a true five star restaurant that would be a top rated place in any city in the world. Every detail as well thought out and creates a wonderful vibe. From the music and pink Himalayan sea salt on the table, to the staff and the flavors, this place is an absolute gem. Although the staff are very laid back and friendly, they are extremely professional and offer five-star level service. The food was absolutely amazing, and the almond milk latte was so good I got a second one to go. After a week on the road, this is the perfect way to end my trip with a delicious meal and an awesome cup of coffee. I can't wait for my next trip to Ridgway!”

“What more could a little Colorado mountain town ask for? Kind and safe service (we were here mid pandemic), great food start to finish, well priced and a well timed meal. Great experience all around.”

“Tacos are large enough to share. Cute place inside with lots of room and an outdoor patio (bar style with stools). We had the "Drippy Mitch" taco and a priceless pear margarita. Both were outstanding and just what we needed after biking down from Ouray. We'll be back! So many tacos, so little time.”

“The food was AMAZING 👏 BUT it took forever and it was not busy...they forgot our order. It was not worth $80 for 1 app and 2 dinners. We are locals and probably won't be back 🤷♀️ their wine is yummy and was a pretty affordable...”

“Finally a good Nexican food lunch. Service was excellent, prices good and tastes of my meal were excellent. Closest to my father's home cooking and to his restaurant cooking as well. Highly recommend 👌”

“Super friendly staff! Light atmosphere, great food! Only thing i would suggest is to filter the ice tea...not a fan of getting the grit when drinking.”

“Great atmosphere. Love the John Wayne memorabilia. Had the Elk burger and Cole slaw. Cole slaw was the best out of the two, the seasonings was lacking in the burger. All around a fantastic place to meet up with friends and have a good time. The waitress assigned to our group of 25 was spectacular. Great attitude. Will come again when we are in town.”

“I went with the chicken sandwich with the chi chi margarita and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We learned halfway through our meal that our server was also the new owner. I didn’t experience this place before the remodel and change of owner, but she seems to be doing all the right things. If you haven’t been recently, definitely check it out.”

“An absolutely adorable little restaurant! The food is 10/10 BLTs that are just to die for if you are in a rush certainly call ahead but is honestly worth the small wait. Good food made right.”

“This pizza place has THE BEST gluten free pizza I've ever had. It is fluffy, buttery, and delicious-- tastes just like normal pizza. I highly suggest this place and the Alpine pizza! *They do note on their menu that it is not celiac friendly, because the pizzas are made in the same oven. For my gluten allergy, this was okay.”

“We stayed here in Oct and I totally forgot to leave a review then. Our experience was so great. The two girls in the restaurant were quick and nice even though they were short staffed. The white chocolate breve was to die for and my burrito was the best I’ve ever had. We will be back soon!”

“Amazing breakfast place. Our food came out quickly and the serving sizes were huge! Great amount of food for the price. The biscuits and gravy were amazing and the salsa that came with the breakfast burrito was super fresh. The sausage patties with the rise n grind platter were huge compared to even store bought ones. Would highly recommend stopping by for breakfast and eating outside for the view or inside for the cozy interior.”

“We had a wonderful meal at this hidden gem while vacationing in Ouray. Tired of the usual bar/brew fare, we were looking for something different and were shocked to find Mi Mexico. Service was attentive and accommodating throughout the meal. Even though we arrived around 3:30, we were able to order from the reduced price lunch menu. Servings were huge, and the food appeared to be fresh and flavorful. The spice level could have been higher for me, but my flavor profile is used to very spicy foods. I highly recommend seeking out this wonderful and different restaurant.”

“This place was great! We sat on the rooftop. Adam, our server was very on top of things, funny and friendly! The pizza was tasty though a little "floppier" than we prefer. Don't get me wrong... it was still really good, and we are happy to have enough left over for dinner! The fresh peach mule was very refreshing as well! Highly recommend this place if you want to just chill and watch people!”
