“It’s a little fancy Peruvian restaurant. I can’t say much about the taste of the real Peruvian food cuz what I asked for was fried food so was nothing special. The “hen soup” was quite good so I need to come back and try some other plates to give the 5 stars.”

“Now OPEN! This is one good pizzeria in DOWNTOWN Hartford!! When it was down in Newington, I would have the Seafood pizza which was the bomb in my digest. They still serve it in its relocation. So, better head up to Artichokes for some N.Y. pizza if you're around downtown. You won't want to miss out on a good slice.”

“I love coming to this place. I see that some of you have had a bad experience but if you have any issues you can call and ask for the owner Al he really cares about his customers and is very friendly. Idk where these bad reviews are coming from maybe the competition ???? but as far as I know this is a great place with wonderful defilement hard working people.”

“I have been coming here for years and it has always remained consistent, where other Colombian restaurants in the area have constant ups and downs in quality and authenticity. Waitresses are always nice as well.”

“The food here is hearty, flavorful, tasty, full of protein.... An all-around win. It's a small place, with a few counter seats, so you may want to take it to go if your party has more than 2-3 people, but it's worth the trip! The menu varies daily. I've had 4 different tofu dishes, and somehow they make tofu delicious every time- that's some kind of magic. It's especially good if you like intense or spicy flavors.”

“Summary: For the price and quality, Broasterant may serve the best fried chicken in the Hartford area. The fried chicken is consistently juicy and seasoned perfectly. The chicken plate is also accompanied by a mountain of french fries and dinner roll. The owner is very friendly and the service is excellent. Must Try: Fried chicken plate or any other size. Also recommended: Shrimp and fries plate. Avoid: N/A ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Great, worth a detour”

“Some of the food was pretty good but some really wasn't great. Wasn't a fan of the pizza but their shrimp appetizer was good. Short ribs were good but not enough food. Spinach artichoke dip was pretty good too.”

“Never really leave online reviews for several reasons... but this small shop ran by family is very good. Attention to detail in their food. Missed by a lot of sandwich spots. Very friendly the two guys that are primarily there and great and consistently crank out great stuff!! Awesome!”

“Celebrating an anniversary and we decided to try Max Downtown. What an amazing dining experience! Restaurant was super-busy due to a UConn game at the XL Center but nonetheless, service was impeccable. Friendly, professional, helpful and present/attentive (but not TOO present/attentive). The timing of the meal was well paced and suggestions offered were spot on. Food was cooked perfectly and served hot. Thanks for a wonderful experience Patrick & Melinda and the others who pitched in along the way ~ we cannot wait to come back!”

I call my Dad the “Customer of Month” because he dines there once a week. And, they’re very accommodating to his dietary restrictions. Keep up the good work ladies and thanks for all of the Hugs!!!”

“Nice vibe in here. There is a cover charge on weekends and fridays. But if you get there before 9 you should be fine. The dance floor was not really packed so good spaces to display your moves.”

“Coworker introduced me to their donuts.... I feel sorry for people without self control. I haven't heard of anyone who likes donuts that does not like the donuts from this place. The Cherry donut is probably the most amazing for me. It's so good I always forget to take a pic before I start destroying it. I usually don't like too much chocolate but the double chocolate donuts is also pretty awesome. I've had others but those are the most notable. If you like donuts try it. 7am - 11am for the donuts and coffee. I'd venture to say the donuts probably taste good without frosting and flavors. That's how good these donuts are. And if you wanna balance out the naughty they usually have a few fruits available.”

“Everything was awesome! As soon as we walked in the hostess was so pleasant and the ambience of the interior was lovely. The food from starters to dessert was excellent. There were six in our party, so we had a wide variety of dishes and all were in agreement that their food was excellent! We were treated so warmly, I highly recommend Salute!”

“A quaint spot for wine. Very simple wine menu and a few cocktail drinks. Wasn’t super impressed. Thought the Oregon wines were an odd add-on to their menu. Not sure if I’ll be returning.”
