We stopped in without a reservation and were pleased to be able get a table. By the time we left, it was obvious that a reservation is suggested. We tried a number of small plates to try and get a flavor of the cuisine for our next visit and we very pleased with ALL of our plates. It is noticeable when the owners and the kitchen take great pride in the creativity, quality and presentation of the menu. The atmosphere is eclectic and the property is spotless. The owners, Chelsey and Asley could not have been more accommodating. We hope The Village Bistro has a fantastic season ,we are SURE that they will and we will be back.”

“When my husband and I walked into this place we immediately felt transported to Miami Beach? California? with a lively, hip vibe! The contemporary, Industrial style provided a very cool atmosphere in which to enjoy a craft cocktail (me) or house brewed beer (my husband). No entrees are offered here but there is a curated selection of small plates. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his selection from the oyster bar which he found to be very fresh and well prepared. Our simple salad was delicious and the pork belly with pickled slaw was heavenly!!! Don't leave here without trying the pork belly!!! We also shared duck confit and the most delicious roasted cauliflower I've ever had. We found the staff to be super friendly and efficient. When we first arrived we saw a lot of families with little kids enjoying thin crust pizzas, then later in the evening, the 20 and 30 somethings arrived in droves. We are so happy to have this fun, happening place right here in our hometown!”

“Love the new Giant Grinder. I think it's funny they ask if your sure you really want the large. Also one time I ordered a large meatball which should come with peppers and onions but I just got a sandwich with just meatballs and cheese. I'd just recommend to be specific with the toppings you want but this is something they could improve on. I like my sandwiches loaded and they always seem to be hesitant to add a lot of toppings”

“The food was absolutely delicious and the venue, is small and brings a cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. By the time I got the check, the hostess introduced herself and the rest of the staff. The sushi is AMAZING. I recommend the Sunny roll (has tempura sea scallops) or the Paradise roll, for a crazy contract of citrus and heat. If you like it 🔥 SPICY 🥵 be careful, they mean business. The spicy snails rice noodle soup is the hottest soup they serve 🔥🔥🔥”

“I went there with my family on a Friday night and the food was excellent. I felt I was in Greece again. Calamari is tasty and crispy, Greek salad was fresh, lamp chops were to die for and the baklava was perfect to finish this memorable meal. Service was friendly and very attentive. Atmosphere was great with indoor and outdoor option. What made a big difference was that the Chef came out to check on us and see if we liked everything. Can’t wait to go back there.”

“Front staff was wonderful. Got everything we ordered in the time stated. All the food was delicious. The sauces are zesty and work perfectly with the meats they’re used with. The brisket was done perfectly and the chicken sandwich is amazing. Bonus points for all the sides being great… cornbread was moist and had a nice sweetness to it, baked beans, mashed sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese are all on point. Have definitely recommended the place to others. Good job and keep it up!!”
