Hunan House

Just had my second meal from this restaurant. This is an exceptional Chinese restaurant. The food is fresh, clean and prepared really well. This is the second best Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten in. Many places have very greasy food that although tasty, is not very healthy. This food tastes good, is not overwhelmed by to much sauce & appears to be made fresh there, not from a food distributor. I'll def go back. I gave 4 stars bc nobody is perfect. Someone mentioned some reviews saying there were issues about freshness here. I haven't read the other reviews, but I was motivated to write this review because of the freshness of the things I've ordered.

Delicious food for affordable prices given the quality and portion sizes. Best American styled Chinese food place I've had the pleasure of eating at in CT. I'll be coming back.

Yesterday, my experience at this restaurant was awesome. I'm not sure what the reviewers are saying about not being fresh. The food was fresh and tasty to me (Great Flavor). If you're looking for Authentic Chinese food you have to give this place a shot. In my experience you don't come to these kind of restaurants for American take-out. Place's like this shine with their authentic flavor.

This restaurant serves distinct Hunan-style dishes as well as americanized Chinese food. Very clean, pleasant atmosphere and good service. All the food was of good quality and delicious (get the Hunan tofu). Some of our food was prepared differently from what we were used to but still tasted good. We went for dinner but their lunch specials looked great.
