“I love this place! The owner Susan is so sweet and accommodating, the food and coffee are amazing, the space is beautiful, and the play room is a blast! We chose to rent it out for my son's 2nd birthday and he had a great time! We ordered some of their flat bread pizzas which were so good, so it was perfect that we could have dinner there too. We brought our own cupcakes and they were so nice, offering to show us how to dim the lights and letting us light his candles, etc. Everything is immaculate and I saw staff cleaning and sanitizing tables and chairs multiple times while we were there. I can't recommend this place enough- we will definitely make it a regular play spot!”

“I walked over to Salute last night. The meal was excellent. I had the 10 oz. cab hangar steak, cooked medium rare of course. For the side I got the potato lasagna: Cheesy and creamy scalloped potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and was butter knife tender. Literally, you don't need the steak knife but they give you one anyway. The potatoes were an excellent accompaniment to the steak. At $23, an absolute steal. I had the Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA which was served in a freezing cold beer glass. Service was prompt. I have been here before and also enjoy the sweet potato ravioli. Looking forward to some normalcy when their happy hour in the bar makes a return. The Salute happy hour exceeds all expectations of value. Will certainly return. Would highly recommend.”

“Soft opening so things weren't perfect. Order took over one hour to make. Order wasn't complete- no dressing or croutons for the salad. The meatloaf...not sure what that was made of, not hamburger. Tasted like frozen rubber. Chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and wings were good. Paid when we got there. Waited for order. Again told the price and reminded the waiter I just paid cash. He brings out an order and it wasn't mine,then brought same order out with wrong name scratched out and mine on it. Drove home about 5 minutes and all the food was cold. Once they're up and running full staff, I'll try them again, but tonight my family and I were not impressed”

“I have scoured the darkest forests of New England to find authentic, British style, fish and chips. This place by far takes the cake not only in freshness and flavor, but in hospitality as well. I phoned in my order a bit late and arrived a little after closing. This woman waited for us to ensure that our meals were. She promptly dropped our fresh fillets of milky white cod fish into pristine, rolling oil. I took notice of the vintage looking bottles of malt vinegar, and knew right away that I was in the right place. At around 13 bucks, the price was right for 3 huge slabs of fresh cod fish, and a basket of perfectly crisped potato wedges. I would support these guys much more often if they were in New Haven. The distance between us could never discourage another quick trip to, Royal Fish and Chips. Judging by the amount that I am writing, it is obvious that this fine meal was rich in omega 3 fatty acids. Fried or not, cod fish is great for a quick brain quencher. ;)”

“I tried this food truck out while at Labyrinth brewery and the food served was fantastic! Very fresh and you can tell they put a lot of love into their cooking. The pineapple salsa was refreshing on such a warm day. The pork on a stick was very tender and well seasoned. The fried plantains were fried to perfection. I also got the guava juice, great for those who love guava! If I see this food truck again, I will definitely try more items ??”

I must say this is not for the faint of heart. I enjoyed the flavor but I could not complete my meal. I can’t say I was not forewarned but I had to try it.
