“Food was pretty good just a little high priced. Customer service is great. Rice and beans a little dry but the extra gravy will make it perfect. Oxtails flavored!! Overall great, would come back”

“My summer salad had mounds of greens with a few strawberries and pieces of chicken. It looked like a lot of food but very little other than greens. They were out of tomato soup and cheesecake. This was an early dinner on a Wednesday night so strange that they were out of those items. Also, their salmon is not wild caught, given the prices I was overall disappointed.”

“First off, I was told there will be a live band there every Wednesday. Second offI had a wonderful meal here! I dined with a couple of my friends, and at the end of the night, it turned out so cheap that I just paid for the 3 of us. Very good menu. It seems a bit more refined than most of their restaurants, but it still has all of my favorites. Definitely check it out!”

“Food is fantastic. The owner is warm and welcoming. So happy we dont have to wait till the summer to go to Rehoboth beach to indulge in the deliciousness. Feels like home. Everything is great! I personally love the Bifongo with pork, my kids go for the Arepa(any) and the huge chilly dog with cheese..yumm!!”

“The bar service is great, the live music is even better! This is such a fun atmosphere for singles and families alike with games, playground, picnic tables. The one star for food was because I waited in line at a food truck for 15 minutes just to place an order and the only thing I could order from the menu they told me was not available. Arrgh!”

“The best Shawarma and Mediterranean food”

“I ordered the healthy yogurt bowl and the green latte. The yogurt bowl was fantastic. The yogurt is made in house! And you can definitely tell! The granola on top was the perfect sweetness with a bit of crunch but not too hard. Strawberries were perfectly ripe and sweet but still firm. The blackberries were so good as well. There was a little drizzle of honey and overall it was the perfect sweetness and it wasn’t too sweet! The portion was perfect and I left feeling so full but it was healthy so it didn’t make me feel tired at all:) I would definitely go here again to grab that bowl. The decor was lovely to look at and they displayed real flowers on the table. Lovely place. Second time there: the beet latte and the guacamole were SO good. This place does not disappoint! They continue to serve fresh and equally beautiful food. Love this place :)”

“Hubby and I have been wanting to check this place out for years and thankfully the stars finally aligned a couple of weeks ago when we were in the area. We stopped by a little after lunch time and got 1/2 rack of ribs to share, baked beans, cole slaw, corn bread and a hot dog for our golden retriever. The 1/2 rack of ribs was colossal and felt like it weighed a couple of pounds - hubby and I could barely finish 1/2 of them. I usually am not a big fan of dry rubs but Smokin D'z changed all that in one bite, I did get a couple of their wet sauces for dipping and both were delicious, my favorite was the spicier one though. All of the sides were absolutely amazing and the corn bread was warm and moist. Hubby snuck a bite of our pup's hot dog and both agreed it was the bomb. The sweet tea is also a must. We actually enjoyed this place so much that we stopped back the next day on our way back home to Baltimore to pick up some more ribs and sides. Pretty sad they are now closed for the season since we'll be back down at the end of the month but we will be counting the days till they reopen in 2022. The staff here goes above and beyond and there are lots of covered outdoor seating and on the weekends they even have a live band plus there's a produce stand in the same lot if you need to pick up some fresh fruits and veggies.”

“There are places where the salt on the table is a necessity, the food come from Sysco, and the dessert case shines like purgatory in the corner. These are compliments; the nostalgia for a time before authentic was the marker for cuisine. It’s the millennium baby, and I want roast beef served on garlic bread and an appetizer sampler . It’s quintessential America: a diner that took the shell of an almost high-end Italian spot. Food is exactly as expected and I commend em for it.”

“It was a warm day in Wilmington, North Carolina and I was craving something mother used to make me as a child. Ironically, it was me who was now the parent, and my child was relaxing in a pool. The craving grew deeper, and I intuitively knew what I needed. It was grilled cheese, and I needed some quickly. I rushed to my phone as a neophyte to this area and found Thrilled Cheese. Their menu was appetizing, and I found myself exude with excitement over the New Wave Fave. I checked my phone and asked my wife what she wanted. She is not as adventurous as I and went for the classic. Upon delivery, my craving for this new type of mother's old favorite hit me like a ton of bricks. I opened my sandwich case, and I was thrilled to see the mammoth New Wave Fave before me. Glistening in the sunlight with all of the ingredients perfectly proportioned as advertised in front of me was true cuisine with only a flare or two of the traits that construe it as traditional. My daughter screamed from the pool.. "that sandwich will change your life." So I began my feast. Each bite teamed with flavorful bursts of egg, creamy American cheese goodness, avocado, and tomato. With each mastication of my jaw, the flavors came out, exacerbating the flavor of lettuce and turkey, and egg. My mouth was transfixed. I was being provided with both the taste of yesteryear and the new wave of this delicious culinary classic. I wasn't done though upon devouring what would be a personal game changer, and motivator to start my life anew. I opened my box of mozzarella sticks, which I had forgotten about due to the sensation of the New Wave Fave. They were perfectly crisp, not doughy, the mozzarella was perfectly viscous, and the marinara sauce seasoned delectibly in a style riveling the chefs of Italy. I ate my 8 sticks... and then reflected. I remember the key days of my life that were memorable. Some of those days include the first time I laid eyes on my dear wife, our wedding day, and the birth of my child. This sandwich made the top 5. I will always remember this sandwich and what it taught me. Thrilled Cheese, I am thrilled to have made the acquaintance of your sandwich that will remain in lore and imprinted in my thoughts from this day forward. I respectfully wish you and all your patrons a good day, abundant health, and the zeal of all that culinary prowess beckons.”

“I really enjoyed the food and service. Drive thru was a little long of a wait but the associates were kind and it was worth it. We got ribs, pork chops, greens, Mac and cheese, seafood salad, sweet potato pie and Soul rolls.”

“It is hands down the most authentic Mexican restaurant I've been too. If any "Mexican restaurant" serves you flour tortillas- run away. I was beyond impressed by the service and the quality of the food. Everything was delicious. We will be coming back to try other items. We had the empanadas and two dishes recommended by our server. I forgot their names. Their hibiscus tea drink is delicious. Wish I had enough room for dessert.”

“Well worth the wait!!! The cheese steak was absolutely delicious!! I had to split with 3 people. There was so much meat and the bread was very fresh. They are still very new so they might not answer the phone. The wait for food when you walk in can be 20 minutes or longer. If you can get through on the phone place an order for pick up. They have so many freshly made items in the case as well. Parking can be crazy so try to park away from the store closer to the bank.”

“I was so excited to hear we have a restaurant in Clayton. Now that I had the chance to dine here, I have to say that it is actually quite awesome! I had the scallop special small plate that was delicious. I also had Jack's Cobb salad that was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend! Look forward to coming back”
