Go here often to grab a sandwich for lunch - the prices are great and the food is delicious! It’s the bread they use that leaves the best impression.

I had been told to go and try them out and I was impressed with the deli. A guy by the name of Johnny was really helpful in assisting me on the different choices and his customer services is above average. A. Litteri deli has so many different things to try. It’s like a taste of Little Italy in DC. I’ll definitely become a regular fan of this place.

This is where I take my friends when I want to impress them with how cool I am. This place has the BEST tiramisu, best fresh pasta, and the best selection of olive oil and high quality sandwiches for an awesome price.

Always a great experience. Yesterday was a classic sub, a meatball sub, some sausages for the grill, giardiniera, and jar of hoagie sauce. On foot that day, so skipped the million other things we wanted. The subs are nearly impossible to save half for the next day, they are that good. But if you can, they are even better the next day.
Weave your way to the back of the store, grab a pencil and an order form. Don't forget to put your name on it. Sandwiches are an incredible value for the high quality you get.
Keep your eyes peeled for the unobtrusive art and memorabilia that a store like this collects over the years. Floor-to-ceiling Italian goodness.

I grew up in the suburbs, so I didn't know places like this still existed. They make the freshest deli subs from top-quality ingredients, whole, sliced meats, and fresh-baked bread. I now get lunch here at least twice a week. I come several more times a week for pantry items because their inventory is legit and affordable, their staff is hard working and knowledgeable, and the place is always spotless and clean-smelling. If you come for lunch, even during busy workday afternoons, they will have your order ready and have you out the door within 10 minutes. Usually far sooner. I finally met Max, who was happy to order me two rare, hard-to-find spices, one of which is regularly kept in stock ("you'll never find them," my girlfriend said.) So even if they don't have what you need they'll hook you up. I went home last night with a ball of fresh pizza dough, a fabulous bottle of Vinho Verde Max helped me pick out, and some brownie points for my lady. This store has become a staple to me, especially during COVID-19. It should be for you, too.
