“Staff super friendly, greet and thank customers coming through the door - so far seems consistent with the best Starbucks locations out there. Ordered drink through the app and everything went smoothly and on time. The space is great: intentional lighting, high ceilings with plenty of windows and ample seating for busier periods, very clean. Only gripe is that there is very limited space outside for short-term (15-30 minutes) parking without going into the Whole Foods garage. Hopefully there are plans to make the street parking more accessible to patrons. This review happened within the location’s first 2 weeks of being open; Hope they’re able to sustain level of service and atmosphere over time!”

“I recently visited Tatte Bakery on 14th St in Washington, DC, and had an absolutely delightful experience. Despite being a chain, Tatte Bakery truly stands out with its fresh and delicious food. Every item I tried tasted as if it had just been prepared, with high-quality ingredients and a keen attention to detail. The bakery's location is excellent, nestled right at the heart of the lively U St and 14th St intersection. The vibrant atmosphere of this bustling area is perfectly complemented by Tatte's wonderful seating arrangements. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a quiet breakfast or a lively place to people-watch while sipping on your coffee, Tatte provides the perfect setting.”

“There are variety of options, offering something for every taste. The bagel sandwiches are a delightful treat, with a crunch on the outside that adds an extra layer of satisfaction. The flavors are on point, creating a delicious harmony. The friendly atmosphere and prompt service make this place a good option for anyone looking to start their day with a tasty breakfast.”

“Really cute cafe with a cozy and rustic yet chic atmosphere. My sister and I had lunch here and ordered the farro salad and turkey club sandwich. The food was not anything particularly special but it was really delicious! This is the type of place where you want to just sit and soak in the vibes. I only wish I had had room for dessert because all the pastries looked so delectable!”

“Came for breakfast and they were already out of leek, potatoe quiche. Ordered peas quiche and spinach artichoke with labneh. Both were delicious. Pistachio latte lacked pistachio taste.,overall, good breakfast place”

“Stopped in for breakfast, and it was fantastic! The staff was super attentive, and food came out fairly quickly. The lattes were absolutely delicious - best pistachio latte I have ever had. The food was also very good. Will be back!!”

“What a great new addition to the neighborhood! The food and service was outstanding. And the mission that the restaurant serves, helping to train and empower refugees and asylum seekers through culinary training, is heartwarming. We will be back!”

“Just visited today! I like the place and it’s uniqueness! I do agree that some of the items are a bit pricey, but the owner(s) are lovely and show great hospitality. Quite a few things I haven't seen before in a grocery store! Anyone wondering should come check it out and try a melt before you go!”

“The perfect coffee shop. Great “house” lattes that you can order off the menu, tons of open space that make the cafe feel airy and large. Music player at an appropriate level and there is a good amount of seating (though it did fill up in the morning quickly). The food was yummy - only suggestion I offer (and my missing star) is that the granola dish needs more yogurt. There was maybe a 2-1 granola to yogurt ratio that made this a pretty dry dish.”

“Surprise! Amazing Alchemist ☕, nitro hibiscus tea & others. Bullfrog bagels remind why bagels are a thing 🥯. Ice cream sandwiches. Friendly service. Quality evening 🍷 & 🥂. Movies each Sunday. What a 💎. Place will be bustling in no time. Just needs better air conditioning 🥵 and parking to attract more people!”

“We all thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant!! The staff was so friendly and and hospitable. I really appreciated the pictures of food with prices that were printed on the walls by the register. It is a cozy place. Outside seating is available with sanitizer and bug spray! on the tables. Indoor seating is limited with lovely seating options. Takeout is available as well. Sitting outside was very relaxing. The food arrived quickly and hot. It was very flavorful and tasty and the portions were great! I was surprised to have a nice portion of bacon!! I wasn't sure about the light sprinkling of cayenne on my plate as I don't like spice, but it accented the taste of the food well, and cayenne is good for you! I would definitely return.”

“What a cool Starbucks! Obviously, amazing location at the wharf but on top of that it has unique seating and a cool vibe. There’s a stage (for live music, I presume?) and lots of comfortable seating indoors and tons of outdoor seating as well. Will definitely be back to this one!”

“On a hill overlooking the city skyline is the second standalone Starbucks East of the River and it’s a beauty! The design is very slick and looks like it belongs in Seattle. The inside is spacious, clean and with plenty of tables and chairs. The staff are friendly and they offer a full coffee menu. There’s even an outside patio with seats. Also, this is the city’s first drive-thru coffee shop! Starbucks for the win!”

“The mango green tea drink and lychee bubble was tasty but too sweet. I asked for no sugar they assured me no sugar but still too sweet. The mango was fresh fruit pieces not dried tea bags. Slow service. Small will put you out $6.75.”

“I finally got to try this place. Everyone got something different. Ribs & brisket w/collard greens, ribs, smoked chicken & green beans, lastly 1/4 slab of ribs & mac/cheese. Everyone received corn bread. We order extra jerk chicken, Italian sausage & wings. All the chicken was good, ribs were good, brisket was tender, greens were tasty. Everything was good except the rice. It was brick hard & stiff, not good. Overall, I would return but won't order the rice. Try their sauces too.”

I ordered the apple and brie sandwich (not pictured- the other half I already scarfed down 😂) and it was everything. definitely felt the safe and welcoming vibes they stand by. Thank you for opening!!”

“I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time. This is my local Starbucks and I’ve been coming consistently for years. The team here are some of the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever encountered. They greet you with a smile the moment you walk in and the atmosphere they create is lively. And they’re funny too! They often joke around with you and are just genuinely great to be around, making you feel welcome. I am always so impressed by their enthusiasm and the interactions always boost my mood and start my day off great. This is really the value of a good local coffee shop. Many people can make good coffee, but people that can do that AND put you in a good mood AND get you motivated for your day are what keep you coming back. I am SHOCKED to see a single bad review below. I am in about twice a month so I don’t think they necessarily recognize me (especially during this mask era), which lets me know that they treat all of their customers this way. Food and drinks are always just right and they’re quick and helpful. I wish I could remember the names of everyone I’ve been served by over the years to mention them here but I can’t, so I will give a shout-out to Fran who I always see, and who is always working hard.”

“It's hard to overstate how great this restaurant/cafe/market is. They have persevered throughout the pandemic with cheer, with wonderful dinners, lunches, sides, and desserts ready to grab and go and take home. The staff are very knowledgeable about their wide selection of Italian wines, able to offer great suggestions for your meal and to let you know what's new. If you want to cook an Italian feast on your own, they have you covered in the grocery department as well - pretty much every staple you need to make a meal is available. On top of all this, they have a wonderful coffee and wine bar and their outdoor patio is beautiful. Radici is worth planning a trip to Eastern Market around if you don't live in the neighborhood and, if you do, it's worth working in to your rotation for local restaurants and stores to support.”

“Their cheese danish is spectacular! Random: At this location my husband found a wallet on the floor and the staff went around the restaurant to make sure they could find the owner. Minutes later, I accidentally left my credit card in the reader and the young man found us around the corner to return it to me. The staff here are so caring about their customers!”
