“Went today for lunch after watching Blue Angels practice at the Navy Base. I haven't been there in years. I had all but forgotten this place! I saw some bad reviews this evening after I got home. Don't believe them. I took my mom there for lunch today and the atmosphere was relaxed and clean. There was one girl working alone, maybe one person in the kitchen but they took care of business. Friendly and prompt. Don't go if you're looking for fast food. This is good legit Mexican food, seasoned perfectly. We were in and out in probably 30-40 minutes. Grab a menu from the counter, let them know you're there and seat yourself. They will get to you. I had a deluxe dinner platter with one beef taco, one enchilada, one tamale, two tostada's , rice and beans for less than $10! A small order and chips and salsa for .99 cents. Mom had a beef taco, tamale, enchilada and beans for about $8. We both had (very good) iced tea. The tacos were fresh and crispy, the rest of the food had great flavor. Our entire meal was about $25. A lot of food for the money and good menu with lots of choices. Don't go with unreasonable expectations. Go with a casual mindset and enjoy it. It's too easy to criticize people who are trying to make a living. I used to own a BBQ place and my food quality and flavor was very consistent, yet for every 100 positive reviews I received there was always that one person who hated everything. You can't please every single person. Perception is everything. Go here and you'll add this place to your " must do" list! Ole!”

The waitress seemed young and inexperienced and did not engage our table frequently or confidently. Willing to change my review to five stars if the service is better next time. Wings strike that perfect balance between crispy skin and juicy meat, sauce is savory and unique, ingredients are fresh and prepared by hand, a variety of craft beer on tap that changes regularly enough to keep you intrigued, and the prices are more than fair. “My Mom and I stopped by here during my visit to Pensacola and I loved it. We do have Popeyes in Colorado, but this location was so much better. The ladies inside treated us like old friends and made me feel happy and welcome. We had a special order and didn't know the best way to order it, but the cashier helped us find exactly what we were looking for. I grew up in Pensacola and I really miss this heart-felt interaction. “Sam's seafood place was very great place for fresh seafood and other fine food. Made fresh everyday. Got the chicken tenders and they were hot right out of the fryer. My wife had the fried oysters and said they taste delicious. Friend of ours had fried shrimp, she had nothing to say except yummy good. The dessert cooler had fresh dessert that I wish I had room for after eating my plate full of food. They have a drive thru so no need to go inside. The staff was very friendly and they brought your order to you at the table. Better than other fast food places. Can't wait to back and try something different.”

“This is the best way I can describe this place. If your favorite dive bar became a pretty awesome place to get seafood. Love the music and the atmosphere felt like a fun relaxed place.The staff was prompt and friendly the food was exactly the way we ordered it the drink was good, tea was also good. We were told to come to this place by another restaurant to look for crab and I can tell why, it was worth the stop. I prefer a booth after a long drive usually more cushion however the one draw back to the place that was apparent was the seats were damaged.”
