The lunch rush is pretty crazy. If you go after the rush, the soup selection is limited. Go early rather than later.
The staff were great, but the food options aren't particularly tasty, in my opinion, for the expense.
Very good I will definitely go back if I am in that area.
Best customer service ever.. ????
UPDATE: I believe they have changed a lot of the staff, and that's made a big difference. The portion sizes are bigger and the people there are always hospitable (there's a specific lady who works there who is always so nice and welcoming!). I haven't tried their sandwiches in a while, but have had their breakfast options and haven't been disappointed. Big improvement!
Original review:
I'm a bit confused by the good reviews, as most people agree that the food at this Nature's Table is very bland and overpriced. Nature’s Table is kind of like Chipotle’s depressed cousin – the concept is cool (healthy eating without needing the wait time of a sit-down restaurant), but the execution is poor.
I’ve had the chicken salad sandwich and one of the salad bowls here, and both times I was disappointed. The salad bowl consisted of a very small portion for about $7, which made me feel ripped-off. The chicken sandwich was mostly bland with *very* rubbery bread that tasted like it’d been left out too long. To give you a better idea of the food, I recently opted to eat half a can of beans for lunch than to purchase one of the entrees from here – and it wasn’t a money issue, it was just because I didn’t want to overpay for unsatisfying food.
I know I probably sound like I’m being picky, but I think the quality and quantity of food at this place is disappointing and overpriced. I’ve eaten at a different Nature’s Table location and although the food was still bland, the portions of the food bowls were a lot better, so maybe it’s just the employees at this location being stingy. To conclude, my grievances / suggestions: Make the portions for the salad bowls bigger, try to make sure your bread is fresh since mine was rubbery even after being toasted, and try to make the food more flavorful, maybe with seasoning.
PS - I gave two stars instead of one because the menu does have a good amount of options and it's nice that the food is mostly "healthy."
