Rusty Pelican Tampa Restaurant

If you don't go for the sunset, then don't go at all. The food is average, at best. But watching the sun dip below the slight rippling of the waves is quite a sight. And that is much more unique and memorable than a good piece of fresh fish.

My wife and I enjoyed the Sunday brunch buffet. The buffet was very good and there is a small menu to order from that was included in the price. No booze in Florida before 11am, they open at 10 so bottomless mimosas are not available at open. It was about $100 for two people with the military discount (thanks for offering that). The service was quick and friendly. I would go again and recommend others try it ????

Attended a wedding held at the Rusty Pelican. It has a well-appointed spot on the water, so expect nice sunset views. The inside is spacious and tastefully decorated. I am not sure if the Rusty Pelican catered the wedding, but if they did, well, damn. Not only seasoned food, but delicious too. Best wedding spread I've had.

Beautiful view, cozy atmosphere, and the food was delicious. I got the surf & turf and that was quite possibly the best lobster I've ever had, cooked to perfection. My girlfriend got the stone crab and that was also very good. We completely cleaned our plates and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend this place.

Outstanding! The food, the view, the atmosphere and the staff were top notch. Everything we had was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The staff was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations! Do not miss out on the blackened scallops, they are amazing.
A special shout out to Katie, she was our server and is the one who gave us the BEST recommendations throughout our meal.
