Julian Restaurant

My first time here staying at the Current hotel and so glad we didn't leave to go out to eat. Julians food was excellent quality and priced fair. My wife had steak & frits and was very happy. The waitress was very helpful making suggestions since it was our first time and must have mentioned to the chef Stephen because he came out to thank us for coming in and made sure we were happy with our dishes. That was nice and doesn't happen everywhere. Will go back next time we are in tampa.

Ambiance was excellence 10, many menu options 8.5, food was good 8.5, bar options limited 7, and service was good 8.5

This is Tampa's best kept secret!!!!! If I could give 100 stars I would!!!! Food blew us away, you have to try the Empanadas and also the Seafood Carbonara. I have had this dish everytime I see it on a menu and HAVE NEVER tasted anything as amazing as this. Chef Steve even personally came to the table to check in to make sure we were satisfied! Amazing chef and wonderful experience, we will be going back tonight! Great Job Julian and Chef Steve!

Food is good, I like the hummus and the pizzas. Had some fluffy waffles in the breakfast, I have to thank the chef and the cooks(just be careful with the pizza, it was a little burnt). Even though Eric served us very well in the breakfast, I was not pleased with the service at all. His commi made me feel very sorry for him, the way she made us feel from the beginning destroyed everything for us. She wiped the table with a very wet cloth and left like it was ok right away when we were just looking to get seated. No name tags, masks arent properly worn(nose out). Every time she stopped by my table she made it very clear that we werent wanted there. Had no idea about hospitality, didnt even know how to properly set up a table, you guys really need to educate your people. All that hardwork is worth nothing when one of your staff is making people feel like absolute poop.

Great food and service. Both times that I've been here they service is top notch. The food, including desserts and cocktails are excellent. The view is one of the best in Tampa, especially from the rooftop bar. I highly recommend this restaurant and hotel.
