“Normally Jake's is closed on Sunday, but Cinco De Mayo was a reason to open and party. From 4 to 7 there was live music and the place was so packed you couldn't hear it as the noise level was very high. However, the guests were having a good time, dancing and drinking. The menu was limited for the night to make it easier for the staff. I ordered more than I knew I would eat. Chili, jalapeno poppers, salsa and chips, roasted corn and flan. The flan was very good and the rest was okay but not my thing, except the corn, which was, though a little under cooked, the highlight of the night. My waiter was good at his job and busy. So to be fair to Jake's, I was told to come back on a regular night and try the brisket menu. I will return.”

My friend had a $17 hamburger. Good but nothing special. Other friend a crab appetizer. Good and a reasonable price. I had local snapper. Bland. No sauce. Over bland pasta for $36. If I'm going to pay that price for fish, I'll go to the Tides or somewhere they serve great food.”

The wrap needed toothpicks to hold it together, because the tortilla was improperly cut. Two other dinners at our table had acceptable sandwiches. Overworked staff, didn't have time to get me silverware to eat the deconstructed wrap, in a timely manner. Good menu, great location, needs professional restaurant Management.”

“Had breakfast there this morning. It was our first time to the Lemon Tree. There was a 15 minute wait, which was fine. Plenty of seating outside to wait until we were called for a table. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not what we had hoped for. I had the blueberry-lemon pancake with bacon and a biscuit on the side. The pancake and bacon were good. The biscuit was very hard and cold. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy. His biscuits were the same way. I asked the waitress if this was the way the biscuits normally are served. She said were not normally like that. She offered to bring me another and I accepted. It was warm but unfortunately just as hard. I hate to say it but it was like a hockey puck. The waitress was gracious enough to remove the biscuit and biscuits and gravy from our check without us saying anything. The service was good and our waitress was very attentive. The restaurant was clean.”
