“I'm in love with the food at this place!!! I had the best Mediterranean salad, gyro platter today! My waitress was incredibly nice, she is one of the owners. Her husband is the chef who was equally as nice. Service was great. I sat outside at one of the little tables and had an enjoyable time to myself. The waitress brought me a glass of water pretty quickly after I sat down. I put in my order and the food was out in a timely fashion. The portions were very healthy sized and the food was delicious. Don't forget olives do have seeds in them so be careful when eating them. They were great! Everything was fresh. I'll be back, next time I will take my friends!”

“It's a Dunkin'. I enjoyed my vanilla chai. However, after waiting ahead for my food the next 10 minutes, when it was finally received half of it was hot, but the other half of my food wasn't. I would have been fine if it was just that it cooled down but I used to work at a Dunkin'. This cold feeling was that of when you don't put the food in the oven on the right setting. My bacon, egg, and cheese was fine but the egg in my wrap was still stiff and cold and I couldn't eat it. I would have complained if I didn't have a long drive ahead of me.”

“Absolutely loved this place. My husband and I stopped in a for a bite one day and we’re pleasantly surprised. Very quaint and cozy. Friendly staff and great food. It’s a complete turnaround since it’s been under new ownership. Tony, the new owner has taken a dingy looking golf course to a whole new level. Our house sits along the course and we used to avoid looking out back because it had become very unkept and a major eyesore. Now we look out and it’s nothing but beautiful green grass. His course care takers are very passionate about what they do and it shows. This course is constantly groomed. I only say all this because it’s amazing to me that it went from what it was to what it is now in just a few months of us living here. No complaints here.”

“I really like Nancy's and they have good food and great collard greens and great steak specials however a rib eye is not Prime rib so there's a little confusion there. Also there is about 20 bar stools and good luck getting a drink when the bartender is also waiting and bussing tables. The check up person gave us the wrong number for a table saw or food came about 20 minutes later because the number on our table did not coincide with their order. Would be nice to have a beverage well you have your food but that's another story because the bartender is not behind the bar. That being said I like Nancy's I just wish the manage who ever is making the plans there would tweak it a bit it's a great place really”

“Pulled pork and brisket (marbled version) was amazingly tasting and juicy. The macn cheese...it was alright and my husband enjoyed it. I did not as it was dry. The collard greens were not good! They were made from very young leaves which made the whole thing very sweet. Although that may have been their intent it contradicts having Crystal hot sauce and vinegar on the table. Great seating as it was quite empty on a Saturday. Prices were what you would expect to pay in Lakewood Ranch and not that of a typical BBQ restaurant.”

“This is the absolute best place to grab a drink and get a small meal anywhere in Lakewood Ranch. They have the largest selection of craft beers that have been hand picked by the manager Travis. Josh makes chef quality custom specials that are so delicious. It’s a small place where you get a personal experience as opposed to feeling like you’re just being herded through. All of the staff is fantastic. They have acoustic style music on the weekends that is usually quite memorable as well. They also have a selection of games you can play including three different sizes of Jenga. There are a few outdoor tables. They also offer stainless steel growlers and very high quality hats and T-shirt’s. Whenever I’m in town this is a must visit place for me.”

They do trick you by putting a bunch of lettuce at the bottom of their appetizers to try to look like there is more food there than there is. I’ve seen this with the Calamari and the bang bang chicken. There is a good amount of outdoor seating. The staff has always been pleasant even when it’s very busy.”
