“This is a great place to hang out with friends. They have authentic Taiwanese street food along with great milk tea and amazing snow/shaved ice. I like their earl grey milk tea with 75% sweetness. My husband and son loves their mango snow ice. Their rice/noodle dishes are okay, but not the best I’ve tasted around the area. They also provide fresh pastries and a selection of other cake/dessert. Their bread is a bit on the pricy side compare to some other bakeries, but it’s made fresh and the quality is great. There are numerous times that the cashier stopped me while I was browsing their bread from the bakery shelve just to tell me that they have a fresh batch coming out and he/she would go grab the ones I want from the rack since they were waiting to be packaged. This shows me that they actually care about their customers. Overall this is a sweet little cafe close to UCF and it is definitely a great hangout place. PS. I wish they would add highchair and diaper changing table since that would be really helpful for young moms with little ones.”

“Super friendly staff who are always smiling. There's almost always a line for the drive thru when I'm there, but it moves quickly. We never wait long at all. My drink is always made correctly at this location. And they often acknowledge my kids with a compliment or a wave. I will go out of my way to go to this location over the one closer to my house because of these reasons.”

“This was their soft opening so a lot of details on services and communication could definitely be improved. I would say that... 1. They were practicing social distancing, hand washing and masking up. 2. It did take a little while to get our 3 orders and I hope they improve their speed time in the future. 3. They probably could ask for people's name in order to make it less confusing. 4. Their waffles are more on the firmer side therefore the topping don't make them soggy. That is a plus! It was delicious. Just the way I like it. ?”

“I love this new downtown location. What a perfect spot to sip on a really good coffee and people watch. I’ve been a fan of Mecatos since 2016. Their coffee is the best in town and the pan de bono is the bomb. If it’s your first time then definitely order some pan de bonos, tequeños, empanadas, buñuelos...quesitos ( I could keep going hahah). Get a cup of cappuccino and try out their natural juices also... mango, lulo and guava are my favorite. Always so delicious and fresh!!! Go try it yourself...your belly will thank you.”

“I was already having a bad day so when I walked in and was instantly greeted and treated so kindly it really overwhelmed me and cheered me up. This to say the customer service is amazing and they’re very kind showing you your options answering any question you might have and talking to you while you wait for your drink. The drinks themselves are amazing too, all natural ingredients and the cups and straws are very environmentally friendly which was cool to know. Definitely recommend and planning on coming back.”
