“Good for reading but my cookie was hard and burned. I recommend ordering differently. Since i cant reply to your comment below: This is my opinion and mines alone. I didn't like the cookie but the shop was nice and warmly done. If I go visit a place and order something sweet then get in return a snack I can make at home is not good. I know Im not a cook or baker but a restaurant, diner and cafes must be able to make something delicious that I know I cant make at home. If your cookie is hard and taste burned to me does not give the owner a right to say I made it up just because you disagree with my review. Will your cookies all be the same? No. Does it mean someone else will not try it? No. Do you think one bad but not so bad review ( hint: a cookie; a dang cookie) will prevent 10 to an extra 100 customers from coming in to your cafe? Hell to the No. Its a very basic review. I saw what people ordered and saw many delicious varieties of sweets, I choose cookie and bypass a delicious cake that I know will be good. Your too sensitive to minor reviews and it doesn't give you credit as the owner to reply back with a kick out the store. Learn to take criticism and move on, many people love your books, the pastries, cookies, drinks and hearty food while a few disagree but still I left you 3 stars, because a cookie is only a cookie might I also add that all the cookies looked crisp from over baking them. Your cookies are not soft or eatable.”

“Delicious Venezuelan dishes in a fast, casual atmosphere. Attentive service in a small, intimate dining space (with a few outdoor tables as well, weather permitting). The fresh juice drinks are notable and I've really enjoyed their rice bowls. I'm happily anticipating trying their many arepa combinations (having had delicious bites from my dining companions' plates)!”

“Great little cozy place with amazing food and friendly staff. I’ve only ever had the delicious breakfast burrito but friends that I have brought have always been delighted with the whatever they have gotten. There is inside and outside seating with lots of shade. It’s perfect for a quick bite or for hanging out and reading a book. I usually hope on my bike and take MLK all the way. They have a bike lock area, which anyone who bikes knows can be a challenge to find in some places. It’s a great place!”

“I don’t give out 5 star ratings very often, but I also haven’t come across a place quite like this. There are two primary facets to Community Cafe: Food and Activism. I’ll explain both briefly: Food: The food is great. They have a selection of delicious meals, so if you’re looking for something meat free or gluten free, your totally covered. The staff are very personable and the service is great. Activism: The owners and staff here are regular participants in the local community. There are quite a few love events that celebrate local business efforts in St. Pete, and they are always out in full force. They are also very much at the forefront of celebrating and supporting the LGBTQ community in St. Pete, so if that’s not something you agree with, then you might want to go to Chili’s instead. They also regularly host movie screenings and other assorted events centered around progressive activism, and even social events. So yes, this is a cafe, but it’s also SO MUCH MORE than that. Because of that, I feel that it deserved a bit of a different review. If you’re in St. Pete, and you’re looking for a place to dine with great food and a welcoming philosophy and atmosphere, I couldn’t recommend a better place. You’ll get a plate full of great food and you’ll be supporting a great group of people in a great community.”

“The best sports bar in town. It's THE place to go to see the game. The food is absolutely great for what it is. Wings and burgers are done with excellence and the salads and lighter meals are hard to find and okay at best. Lots of amazing theme nights, game nights, and music nights to keep you coming back. If you want a quiet meal, go inside to where it's more intimate and cozy.”

“The facilities are fairly clean. There is a good selection of drinks including coffee and fountain drinks along with snacks and candies. The staff was friendly enough, and we were able to get in and out. There is no wait for gas, so definitely and quick in and put type stop for gas, snacks, and bathrooms!”

“A fantastic experience with some of the best vegan food I have ever tasted. They have a very wide variety of meals, and even some great drinks. The location is nice and the interior decor is very charming. I definitely eat here on a monthly basis and always invite friends and family. I own a local dog walking/pet sitting business (Paws & Relax) and I’m always on-the-go, so having food that is healthy and fuels me is super important!”

“This place is amazing. Organic pressed juices are the best quality of juice and this is what they have here. To add to this Rebecca particularly (and other staff there) have a phenomenal knowledge about health beyond what they sell here. I like to read and research about the best healthy choices to make and Rebecca's knowledge blew me away!”

“I sometime drop my daughter off at USFSP and we’ve been here more than a few times in the morning to get some breakfast and service from the drive thru was always fast, food and coffee always tasted great. I can’t comment on the service inside as I never needed to go in to make an order. Transaction and food was fast, that’s all I need.”

“This is my go to McDonald's! The staff are usually pretty great, very polite, friendly and kind. The food is typically on point, very few disappointing meals. If you go late night there are a few things to know: around midnight ish they go cash only for a little bit, there's likely no ice cream and you'll likely have to go straight to the second window. Love this place and these people. And their breakfast is the absolute best. ????”

“This is the only McDonald's I visit. Everyone is right on the ball. They are there to work not just for a job. The bathrooms are the cleanest I have ever seen. Pride shows. Very good”

“Quick service, friendly workers, my only problem is the manager. She always seems angry and is short with people. I ordered a frappe at like 8 pm through the app and she screamed "who rang up this frappe?!?" A worker said "it was a mobile order" she mustve known it was me, so she turned to me and said "no frappes. Machine isnt working." I asked how id go about getting a refund, and she simply said "we dont issue refunds for app orders" Okay... So I just said I guess ill take a large coke instead and eat the 2.39 or whatever it was. Not so nice, but clean, quick, and the non-managers are great!”

“Went for lunch with a co-worker as I wanted soup and happened to be in their neck of the woods. Nice atmosphere and a very popular place with the locals. It was busy for lunch but we had no problem getting a table. It reminds me of the pubs you find in England/Great Britain. You could bring the whole family for a meal including the kids and the adults can still enjoy a drink from the bar or not. ????”

“The new manager Atensia is the best. She is always courteous and aware of each specific customer that come to this store. I am a regular customer, and the service I receive is top notch. I understand people have had bad experiences in the past, but that was under old management. This store is cleaner, the workers are more courteous, and there is a sense of pride with every customer served. Keep it up guys. Great job.”

“We went for an early morning breakfast and despite the crowd we were immediately seated. Because of the cool weather we chose outside seating which is also open for people with pets. Service was prompt, huge portion sizes and the food was delicious. You should definite try their fresh juices as well. With regard to parking the designated area is small, so you may have to opt for street parking. The community is quiet though and you will enjoy taking a stroll to admire the fruit trees and unique homes.”

“So happy this is here in the neighborhood! I stopped by yesterday to grab a drink before heading out on some errands, and today I decided to come back and try a pastry and hang out. Great scones, they have kombucha on tap, the staff was really nice. Glad to see they kept the hex tiles (or installed some convincingly weathered new ones) - they always remind me of old St. Pete.”

“Tasty, and conveniently open 24 hours. Excellent food, great portions, solidly cooked to spec. Good vegetarian options for those that are so inclined. The menu is easy enough to remove items that may not be something you can enjoy, but boy, do they ever get you on the substitutions. My vegetarian friend asked to have the bacon and ham removed from his meal and requested tomato instead. They wanted four bucks for that substitution. 4. Dollars. For a couple of slices of tomato. I'd recommend you go the grocery store, get what you might want to substitute, bring your own knife for slicing, and you will be far better off. Other than the crazy prices for substitutions, the food is good, the staff is great and friendly, and the straight menu prices aren't bad for the toney area.”

“They have one of the best burgers you can get in all of St Pete! Try their St Petersburger and you won't be disappointed. As well, the store is very well organized. And fun just to browse through. They offer some products you can't get anywhere else in St Pete. Overall they're one of the best up-scale markets in all of Tampa Bay.”

“Won’t knock your socks off, won’t be a catastrophe either. Our server was friendly and attentive. Street or nearby garage parking. Outdoor seating. Attention to maintenance/updating could use serious attention. Outdoor seating.”
