“We went to the Bilmar week of March 27, 22. We went for rest, a safe and fun place for our 2 & 4 year old, and to have access to a warm pool and steps away from the beach. That is exactly what we got! We had no issues and when we needed towels, candy, or waters the front desk was very helpful. Not only was the front desk helpful while we were there but when we left we accidentally forgot my carry on luggage with a lot of valuables in it. I called them up and they retrieved it immediately and shipped it out ASAP. I received it with everything in it and all in one piece. This resort is a family friendly resort, that gave us what we needed. We read the reviews and what they offered and it was exactly as described. If you have kids and like kids then this is the place to go. There were issues with electricity and they resolved it ASAP and informed us. It didn’t impact us as all, even our food in fridge wasn’t effected. If you are looking for a 5 star, high end resort then this isn’t the resort for you but if you are looking for a kid friendly, safe, fun, and affordable resort at the location it is in- then I would recommend it! Thank you to to the staff who really helped us out while we were there and with my carry on, it was a very stressful situation and you reduced the stress to the maximum level possible.”

“Absolutely amazing staff and food. I stopped here while on a work trip. They really know how to make a taco with fresh ingredients! I've never seen such hospitality from a family owned restaurant! Definitely recommend!”

“Good food, great views, good ambience. This is what living in Fl feels like :)”

“This place is your 24/7 diner that is one of the only local places always open, unless you choose to leave Treasure Island. This place is a welcome establishment, with your traditional American food, good year-round. Keep in mind this restaurant is table service, so don't expect anything different from what you'd get from a diner. This place is reliable and reasonable for a diner. This location is normally relatively clean, compared to other diners at large. If you like diners, this one is one of the better diners you'll visit.”

“This place is what you would expect from a convenience store at a gas station, without the fuel pump. In this case, you might be a tourist who needs a few things quickly. The nearest actual 24/7 superstore is in another city, so having a store like this around helps get the job done.”

“Our girl's party had a ton of fun here! Our waitress was swamped on an unexpectedly busy day but she still managed to take great care of us! I am allergic to seafood and she made sure I didn't get anything that would harm me... That's rare to find these days! I appreciate it more than you know! Highly recommend this place!”

“Very good food, very attentive staff, and valet parking. Upscale feel and rather upscale prices, but casual dress is okay. Get there for the early-bird specials (I know, but it's Florida!) and save a LOT. For us, the early bird menu was 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, but our appetizer (calamari) was only $4 and shrimp scampi was only $13.95, which was significantly less than the regular menu. Even at full price, though, the food is really good.”

“Salad wedge was a great start and the burger was of good quality and cooked to order. Good ambience inside. Or sit outside near the pool with a peak of the beach. Best burger on Treasure Island. And likely the most expensive. But well worth the price aa you get what you pay for here. And a worthy experience for salads and good fish tacos as well.”

“This is a great little restaurant. It is in the Thunderbird Hotel on Treasure Island, FL. The atmosphere is nice, our waitress was wonderful, the food was great, the portions were big and the prices were reasonable. I had the Calzone and it was about $14 with four extra toppings. Feola's is a good place to eat in pleasant surroundings, at a decent price. I would recommend it.”

“Great music by little known but highly talented artists under a genuine rustic Florida tiki hut! --Reasonable prices, simple pub food, mostly baby boomer heavy drinking crowd. 90% of these folks would not pass a DWI breathalyzer. The designated drivers were the ones who could still stand and stagger to the car without dropping the keys... driving is much easier as you're sitting down...so someone there informed me!”

“Great location. New Year's Eve was an eclectic mix of patrons and entertainment. Not sure if the bagpiper was planned (on the band's break) but a fun surprise nonetheless. Drinks were so so, but on such a busy night I won't judge. Main problem was service. I only saw a server once. They could have sold more drinks and made more in tips and had happier customers with more staff.”

“Best McDonald's in the area if you ask me. They always seem to have fresh fries which rocks.”

“Good, solid pizza place on the beach. There are better, but not that many. Bad pizza abounds in this area, so if you're around this spot go for it. Laid back atmosphere, decent service, pies come out fast and hot. Pizza is coal fired which is a bonus in the area.”

“Been to this location many times. Right on the beach, view is awesome. Always good food, always good service. Very consistent. They have 'keep the glass' drink specials. That is okay for tourists, I guess. But that stuff can get pricey real fast. If you are careful how you order, you can get affordable drinks and food. Super clean restrooms!”

“My friends and I are here for spring break and we’re extremely satisfied with our order! I highly recommend trying it out if you haven’t yet! We will remember this place for future vacations no doubt! Great taste and it’s filling!”

“I rode my motorcycle to Florida 10 years ago and still think of the pizza I had here. When I was back on the Gulf coast this was a place I had to come back too. Seriously some of the best pizza I've had. Thin crust that is crispy but still a little chewy. Perfectly cooked, just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings. I ordered the red shrimp as well, sauce and vegetables were good. Baked potato was a baked potato. If you're in town and want some Italian, or especially if you want some amazing pizza, this is the place. Worth the trip.”

“VIP is always worth it. the BEST quality food and drink for a price that won't break the bank. Literally just left and spent about 30 bucks on 3 margaritas, 1 mimosa, tacos and appetizer. This place has never disappointed. Even if they did, I know that they care enough to fix it. Excellent restaurant. There's a reason you usually have to wait to be seated. Guys, go... Seriously go now.”

“Food was amazing from start to finish. Could use some more staff but they only just opened so it's understandable, and everyone there works very hard to get you what you need. Best Italian restaurant I've been to in the beach area.”

“Do not miss this place. Awesome atmosphere. Great food. outside live music is awesome. Jeff Gurney was hilarious and a great singer, he is there every Tuesday. don't miss him. Also, get the muscles. They are delicious.”

“Nice atmosphere. Our server was very pleasant. My friend is vegan and they switched out cheese for avacodo on her dish. She loved it. My food was also very good, and the prices are totally reasonable. Highly recommended.”

“Came here because the Tavern participates in Club Savor. Had baked oysters, mussels, crab cakes, and the scallops with sweet potato, as well as drinks (yes this was a party of one ????). Everything was to. die. for. The bread hay cane w the mussels were incredible. I don’t understand what sorcery they sprinkled it with, but the dish is worth it alone for the bread. Service was incredible, as well. Highly recommend.”

“Great food and service by Allison was exceptional. We enjoyed our entire meal. Cobra was delicious with the saffron, crab sauce. The seafood crape was so flavorful, tender and the seafood was cooked perfectly. So impressed with all the food and beverages. Great Elderflower martini and Angel's Envy Old Fashioned.”

“Best crab legs hands down! The price for all you can eat is a bit steep and has gone up recently. Keeps locals like us from going more often. However, service is always friendly and the tourists seem to love it!”

“This place is great! The food always taste fresh like they just made it, fast, but quality is great. I have tried other Taco bus locations and nothing compares to this one. I will recommend this location to everyone and I will only have Taco Bus from this location. Keep up the great work guys!”

“Looking at Yelp while on Vacation we came across the Dixie Dog House and its reviews. Although we have passed directly in front of this location on every trip and have eaten next door but we never stopped. Today, after reading the review on Yelp and looking at the menu we decided to stop in and visit. EXCELLENT customer service from the moment we walked inside the door. We both sat down and ordered a Chicago Dog fully dressed along with an order of fries and two soft drinks. A filling meal at a total of only $17.85 for two people. The Chicago Dogs were authentic, served on a poppy seed bun, a Vienna beef dog, mustard, two sport peppers, green relish, tomato, onion, celery salt. The only place you can get anything better is going to be at Portillo's in Chicago. The fries were good, cooked well and nice and crispy without being soggy or greasy. They also have Italian Beef which I have to go back and try. If you have never tried true Chicago Style Italian Beef then you will not know what a delicacy this is. But, once you try it you will be hooked. Dixie Dog is a small place that you will pass right by before you realize it. When you come across the causeway into Treasure Island it is right before the Floridian Sandwich Shop and if you see ABC Liquor you have gone to far already. Don't worry, you can turn right and cut back over and give this place a try, You will not be sorry and may find a new "must stop" location when in town,”
