“Yes, the donuts are indeed yummy. Coffee was good too. Expect to pay a premium for these donuts. If you get one donut you may not think anything of it but if you get a dozen it will add up. Think 2 times the price or more versus the popular donut chain that is everywhere. To an extent you get what you pay for of course. If they had a discount on a dozen donuts I would go more often. I'm just not the type to stop in for a donut or two. I get them for the whole family and my family is just not worth it. HaHaHa! just kidding there...but if there were a discount on a dozen they may not make as much per donut on me but without it they will earn my business much less often. Of course with that price model they may have to make more donuts and ramping up production may not be possible for this mom and pop donut shop. Just throwing it out there but if you are looking for the highest quality donut in Venice this is the place to go.”

“This Perkins is brand new, built this year. Cleanest Perkins I’ve ever been in. Went during the summer and was seated immediately. I was able to order a salad at 9am in the morning. Everyone enjoyed their food, the kids as well. I loved the fact that I could just pour myself some more hot water for my tea at anytime. Friendly staff, was very accommodating to dietary restrictions and food allergies.”

“This cute little restaurant at the west end of downtown Venice is a great breakfast or lunch choice. It's kind of a natural food diner, if that makes sense to you. In our party, three had breakfast and one opted for lunch. The egg dishes (omelettes for two of the three) were all well prepared and featured fresh vegetables. The sandwich was similarly nice, with good fresh bread and fair portions. A pleasant lunch in downtown Venice.”

“Just had lunch here, AMAZING! Had the open faced smoked ham and Muenster with a cup of the tomato soup. Best tomato soup I’ve ever had! “Their Pizza is delicious. The bread is as good as any gluten bread you could want. My daughter has never had gluten bread and was only moderately happy with this bread, but I think it's because it had kind of a sour flavor as per a gluten bread with yeast. We appreciate that it's not sweet. We had the key lime pie and it is good... 3.5 out of 5. I find that inferior key lime pies are loaded with sugar and have an overpowering sweetness. This one was pretty sweet, not as bad as many and the crust and creamy topping sort of balanced it out but the key lime filling was pretty dang sweet. Still, it tasted good and had the right amount of key lime flavor. It's great to walk in to a bakery and know that you could safely buy anything! Oh... 1 more thing... The ingredient list on the bread is good. Few if any red flags there. We were happy with our baked goods!”

“Located in a 7-11 gas station, so it was super convenient to order food and buy cheaper drinks in 7-11. Great customer service, super friendly. We had a large breakfast order and the wait was normal, maybe 5-7 minutes, with 3 people ahead of us, and 2 people ordering after us. The fact that the girl still apologized for our wait when we picked up our food. Bacon could have been cooked a bit more, but that's a common problem, and personal preference. Very tasty otherwise!”
