West End Trading Company

Address: 202 Sanford Ave, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

“Always a great time! Beautiful outdoor seating, dog friendly, and great variety of beers and cocktails. Bartenders are super casual and fun. Also occasional live music which matches the environment and ambiance. Love the owners' bar in Texas, and love the one here too. Make sure to stop by !”

Negril Spice - Jamaican American Cuisine

Address: 114 Sanford Ave, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“Bought the ox tails and curry goat for the whole family, also the beef Jamaican patties and let me just say everything tasted AMAZING! From the food to the customer service I have no complaints at all. Great atmosphere. Didn’t even have to wait long for the food. I plan on going back ASAP! My new favorite spot.”

The Old Jailhouse Kitchen & Spirits

Address: 113 S Palmetto Ave, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“Had dinner just the other night. Wait time was about 45 min at 5:30. The atmosphere is very unique and fun. The food was very tasty. The review has 3 stars because the food is quite expensive and the servings are very small. I ordered the Low Country Skewer. 6 med. shrimp, 1/3 of an Italian sausage, small scoop of cheese grits and some leafy greens for $23. I would only recommend visiting if you want a burger and a beer. Even the beer was $6. I’m not cheep and enjoy a good place to go, but I was still hungry when I left.”

Celery City Craft Beer Garden

Address: 114 S Palmetto Ave, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“I came by for the 5th anniversary and it was definitely worth the visit. I have been by here once before but this was my first time spending a decent amount of time here. The staff are great and there is a large selection of craft beer to partake in. They have live music here often and the majority of their seating is outside giving meaning to beer garden being in their name. If you are in downtown Sanford you won't be disappointed if you stop in.”

The Smiling Bison - Sanford

Address: 107 Magnolia Ave, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“Cute vibe, interesting menu but nothing really special. We had the Bacon Fat Biscuits. They were maybe a little over-cooked; drier and harder like a cookie. We had the pickle spears which were good and the pork belly. The pork belly was the best thing on the menu but for $12 the portion size was very small. We split the Bison Strip for an entree and it was mediocre at best. Even though we ordered medium rare (and it WAS cooked that way) the meat was so dense and tough we were, essentially, sawing into it. That portion size was substantial-but I'd choose quality over quantity any day. The drink selection was good and the wine selection was decent. We might go back after we've worked our way through the other downtown Sanford restaurants.”

Hollerbach's Willow Tree Cafe

Address: 205 E 1st St, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“I love it here especially when they have live music. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They make a special vegetarian dish for me that is always so tasty. It is always packed with happy folks enjoying good German foods. Plus they are expanding to accommodate larger crowds. Just a wonderful local restaurant everyone should stop and visit.”

Taste of Thyme Cafe

Address: 108 Magnolia Ave, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Cafe Meal takeaway Restaurant

“That Kayla ... She's the best! Great sense of humor, and by far the kindest hearted person I've met... Everything is made to order so there's a bit of a wait but it's really worth the wait.”

Zorbas Greek Food

Address: 115 E 1st St, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“So different than I expected! It felt like an authentic taste of Greece. I had the plate of various things, it may have been an appetizer but was more than I could eat for lunch. My friend had a luxurious stuffed eggplant and had to get a carry out box. Wonderful and knowledgeable waitress. Eat outside if possible.”

The Sullivan-A Public House

Address: 116 E 1st St, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“The best part of The Sullivan was the bartender! He was fabulously cheeky. Sadly, I didn't get his name but he was a witty Irish fellow who recommended some good whiskey and some great Irish food. The bar wasn't super busy but it was nice because you could hear the lovely music. This restaurant/bar was gorgeous! The bar shelving was so intricate and ornate, the ceilings were pressed tin, and it had these adorable little rooms where you could squeeze about 5 or 6 of your best mates in for more intimate evening or to hide your raucous good time. We had Guiness battered onion rings, shepherd's pie, and bangers and mash. Honestly, the food was some of the best I've had in quite a while. I highly recommend and hopefully, you'll have the outstanding Irish bartender because though the food and drink were fantastic, he truly made the whole experience.”

Colonial Room Restaurant

Address: 105 E 1st St, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“In Sanford Florida"s charming downtown you will find the Colonial Room Restaurant. You will, if you are lucky, find the Sunday brunch. For $8.95 you are treated to a Southern breakfast buffet offering hot, freshly scrambled eggs, thick slices of Southern bacon, homemade biscuits, fat delicious sausage links, grits and even fresh fruit to help balance all of that delicious but fattening food. The coffee is good. Our waitress Sam was even better. A mature lady with short blonde hair and a pink T-shirt, Sam is dedicated to making sure her customers always have hot coffee and get exactly what they want. My daughter dig onto the all-you-can-eat buffet, but I ordered from the breakfast menu. Sam felt genuinely sorry to charge me a whopper 50 cents to substitute fresh fruit for the grits I didn't want with my two eggs and biscuits. For half a buck I receive DeGeneres side bowl of delightfully fresh grapes, sweet watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe and more. You can sit inside in the comfortable booth or relax on the sidewalk tables that are shaded and still cool with a breeze despite the fact it was 92 degrees in lovely downtown Sanford Sunday morning.”

Fuel BBQ

Address: 120 S Park Ave, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“I’ve never tried their chicken, ribs, or pork— I go straight for the brisket. I’m always on the lookout for good, Texas-style bbq brisket, and this place has it. Friendly staff, cool atmosphere in a downtown Sanford that is developing more and more each month. Here I ordered 6 oz. of fatty brisket, side of collared greens, and cornbread with butter and honey. Everything was excellent. Came to $12.84 after tax.”

The Breezeway Restaurant & Bar

Address: 112 E 1st St, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“Stopped in for lunch with my boyfriend and niece. Shrimp was VERY good. My niece ordered wings and ended up not liking them so they didn't charge us for it! Very friendly and attentive staff. A little on the pricey side, but worth it for a quick lunch.”

Pook Bear Country Cooking

Address: 1926 W 13th St, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“It was my first time trying Pook Bear after a friend told me about the place. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was absolutely the best I've ever tasted. The pink lemonade is also very good. I'll definitely be going back again soon.”

Andy’s Frozen Custard

Address: 4625 St Johns Pkwy, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“I have been trying to get to this place since I first saw the empty lot with the coming soon sign. Life does get in the way and many months later I have finally managed to make the journey to Andy's. There are numerous things on the menu but the choices are not overwhelming. I went with James Brown Funky Jackhammer. Vanilla frozen custard blended with creamy peanut butter and brownies then filled with hot fudge. Extremely satisfying. The custard is very rich and filling. The center of the cup was filled with hot chocolate and this made every bite chocolatey. I will definitely go back to try several of the other items on the menu. There are benches outside for seating as well as a drive through. There are no indoor tables so if you are looking to get out of the heat and get ice cream then this isn't the place for you. Other than that I highly reccomend you check it out.”

Pacino's Pizzeria

Address: 1746 Rinehart Rd, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

“The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. My family and I instantly felt at home. The food is delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!”

Carrabba's Italian Grill

Address: 4675 St Johns Pkwy, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“My husband and I love coming here. We come at least once a month. Never any issues with the food, service or drinks...all are always wonderful. The only thing I would point out is this particular location close to our home is getting pretty run down. It's supposed to be a really nice restaurant and the booths and the tables all need to be replaced. Lots of wear and tear on them. Holes, scratches, chips etc etc. I remember noting last year that the place was getting a bit run down and now a year later it's really rough. That is really the only negative I have about the place and that's definitely not worth docking them a star for... just wanted to give some feedback so they can get some new stuff!”

LongHorn Steakhouse

Address: 4695 St Johns Pkwy, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“This location is always quite consistent. The servers are attentive without being intrusive. I have always found the food quality to be very good. I find Longhorns to be a great value. For lunch they have a very good fried chicken sandwich.”

Hooters

Address: 550 Towne Center Cir, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

“Reasonable prices for good food. Out of all the wing places in town I still prefer Hooters. Having beautiful women around serving them to you is just a bonus. Go to the bar and see Payton, she’s awesome and always has the bar on lock”

Habaneros Mexican Grill Sanford

Address: 223 Towne Center Cir, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Taco Bell

Address: 254 Towne Center Cir, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“Gave me the runs but it was delicious so it was worth it. But I guess that's the thing about taco bell that we all already know once we walk in the door is that you're going to get food that's as good as you can get from fast food but it does come at a cost. It may burn coming out but it's so delicious going in that I don't even care.”

Maki of Japan

Address: 238 Towne Center Cir, Sanford, FL 32771, USA

Restaurant

“This was probably one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a food court. From the second we got in line, to the second we said “goodbye” to the cashier, there was great service. The food tastes great, the orange chicken is not too tangy and the Mongolian chicken is delightful. Would definitely go again”
