“Went to Easter Brunch today. Very good, service was great, no wait time to be seated. Brunch menu had prime rib carving station, salmon, chicken, sliced ham, a nice salad table with delicious seafood salad. The only item that might be improved on- served dessert. Wait staff came to table and recited 4 desserts. Not matching with the rest of the buffet, in my opinion. But that may be something they will improve on next year! Loved the food! Tables were a comfortable distance apart, so we weren’t listening to our neighbors.”

“What a cool new spot on the beach for a relaxed atmosphere of lounging, sipping, and munching. They have a good selection of wines by the glass (around 8 or 9), wine you can purchase by the bottle, which they don’t charge an uncorking fee for so that’s awesome, and comfortable seating. The owner is very friendly and loves to chat about wine and there’s a big screen tv for games and events. What a great hidden gem!”

“My boyfriend and I stayed here for 7 days and we don’t have a single complaint. Everything was perfect. The rooms and hotel are beautiful as well as the pool. There is a restaurant in the hotel (Sessions) that we had an amazing breakfast and dinner at. All of the staff was super helpful and kind, specifically Unicorn. She was so much help through the whole process from booking to checking out. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.”

“What a lovely campground. Not a lot to do for kids but a great little gem for adults and this newly retired happy camper. Linda (office) and Mary (security) were so friendly and helpful. The newly finished pool is beautiful and the restaurant and marina on site are great additions to this campground. We will be eating dinner one night (at least) at the swamp house grill which I hear is wonderful and looking forward to our small boat tour on the water by St. John’s Eco tours that is coming up. Those reviews to come! So excited for the adventures and living the dream.”

“The food is absolutely amazing. Delicious, made fresh and served hot. The included sides are plentiful and succulent, the rice and beans in particular are SO good. My little ones both shared the pepper steak and both of them enjoyed it fresh and wanted their leftovers the next day and devoured them. The curry goat is very flavorful, it does have a good amount of bones in it, which I personally enjoy, but might not be the best choice for a younger child on their own. Jerk chicken is hands down the best I've ever had. Portion size is very large, you will not leave hungry. 10/10”

“Planned a visit for our anniversary and enjoyed our stay. The location is wonderful and the rooms quite unique. Unfortunately, our friend had arranged to prepay for most of the room fee and asked for a card to be left for us indicating the gift and wishing us a happy celebration. While the credit was apparently applied, we were unaware as the balance was billed to ‘the card on file.’ This made for a very awkward conversation when it was mentioned to us, as we had not been able to thank our friend properly. As an independent inn, it’s unfortunate they couldn’t have made the small extra effort for us.”

“I am so totally a sushi person and was glad to see one pop up. Family I went with got bento boxes which had great portions and nice presentation. For my sushi I got the Romantic roll, absolutely amazing! It was a good size and I was even able to take some home. Presentation is wonderful. Restaurant is beautiful. “Confusing menu not really sure what this restaurant is meant to be. They have some bar classics, American classics, Asian, Italian, Seafood and then some random curry dish out of nowhere. They would do better to focus their menu, it would also make it easier on the cooks. Service was friendly and fast. I ordered the grilled chicken club. It was as confusing as the menu. The candied bacon on it added a weird sweetness to it that I'm still puzzled by. The lettuce was not shaved as advertised, it was whole leaves of iceberg. The chicken was also not shaved as advertised, it was two thin cutlets. The fries were very good, crispy on the outside soft on the inside and their seasoning is awesome. In total for a Budweiser, sandwich and fries my total was 17 bucks. I may go back again but probably just for beer and apps before hitting the bars. I wish them the best of luck in their endeavour as many restaurants have tried and failed to make it in that location.”
