“Cool spot on Washington Av towards Lincoln Mall. I bumped into it quite fortuitously whilst just casually looking for a spot to grab a drink and get away from the hot weather for a bit. Really nice welcome and nice chill out place. Good for reflecting, chilling, ‘interneting’, people watching or all of the above 🙂 I only grabbed a coffee on this occasion, but also bought a small beach hut photo ($45) from the back. Reasonably priced for a tourist.”

They also sell pretty authentic alfajores, very similar to the ones that are from South America. *There are only few tables to eat at the place because it’s a small store. * Its a little over price in comparison with other bakeries that sells same items, but it’s totally worth it. I had an everything bagel with cream cheese and it was delicious and flavorful the toppings on the top were so fresh and smelled and tasted delicious 😋 My daughter-in-law had the French toast and she enjoyed it so much. My son had runny eggs, perfectly cooked with on fresh Avocado 🥑 and toast. My son and I had delicious espresso with milk and hearts, very tasty with no bitterness. His wife had fresh orange juice which she said was delicious, plus we all enjoyed fresh filtered water 💧 as well. The service was good but the place was filling up and she did make me feel a bit rushed while I was finishing up but otherwise I would definitely suggest trying this place out. I felt that it was very pricey but you do pay for quality ingredients. I would certainly go again from time to time but mid morning during the week.”

“This place is delicious but very overpriced $$$$. I came here specifically for the MOTE DE QUESO which is a classic soup made with white cheese and ñame usually from the north of Colombia. It’s a rare find but they charge $18 plus tax for this small bowl you see in the photo. Plus there are no sides included. I asked them to put it in a to-go bowl because if they serve it on a bowl to eat there the portion is actually about 1/3 of shown. They use those small styrofoam bowls which are like kid size portions.”

“Our next family food adventure take us to Pura Vida located at Downtown Doral at breakfast time, we walking around and enjoy the morning at Downtown we decided to go inside and was the best decision. The decoration of the place is incredibly relaxing and creative, the white color is the one that predominates so that the costumers feel in an atmosphere of inner peace in which they can savor a delicious Latte created by an artist. The attention to the costumer was very friendly, they explain the entire menu and the ingredients and the options according to what we wanted and thanks to that our experience was the best. What we ordered was salmon avocado toast. You can feel the combination of coriander, lemon, feta cheese, olive oil and the freshness of the salmon. My wife and son ordered the omelette with bacon and vegetables, exquisite by the way, all the dishes were full of colors. like a postcard of nature. I want to thank the Pura Vida team for the experience, everything was excellent.”

Nothing special. I rather get my crepe dessert from CrepeMaker. The girls in charge of bringing your order took our order’s to a different table and after leaving the food for a little expected us to receive it when they were other customer talking over our food. They didn’t like that we asked to remake our order. Service is terrible. It’s a very cute spot but not worth it.”
