“My boyfriend and I were extremely pleased with the service. We felt like our server, Josh, genuinely cared for our needs and feelings. The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxed. We had a lot of fun learning about the history of the restaurant from a kind gentleman who I am assuming was the owner or some kind of Manager. Both of our plates had so much flavor and the combinations of flavor were on par with extremely fine dining. I've been talking to my coworkers about our experience all morning, already planning when to come back. Seriously awesome experience. Would recommend for any type of occasion as their pricing is fantastic. Definitely get your moneys worth, if not more !”

“The cigar lounge area is a nice vibe. Everyone was enjoying each other’s company. People were playing chess, cards, listening to music, drinking, talking, smoking, eating and tons of laughter. Like with any new spot (2 weeks open) you must be patient. Had to wait for food/drinks and not everything on the menu was available. I can’t say how long the wait time was because we were so wrapped up in: drinking, smoking and talking. The food was good, drinks WEREN’T watered down and cigars were tasteful. On our next visit, we sit in the bar restaurant area.”

“This is a little hidden gem in historic St. Andrews. We went on a early Friday evening around 7pm. Not crowded but we liked it that way. The jazz band started around 8pm. There was a guy at the bar that was talking on the cell phone so loudly that the entire bar could hear. What is it with people that think the whole world needs to know their business and amplify when on the cell phone? And it was certainly business we didn't need to be hearing about his future in-law's and girlfriend. But, it didn't take long for the bartender to politely ask him to lower his voice. I love the ambiance of the books and couches in a dark paneled and painted room(s). It's a wonderful place to chill out with a cold beer, cider, or glass of wine. They don't serve liquor or food but you are welcome to bring in food from places near by. Will definitely go back.”

Besides the host(didn't get her name), who was very helpful by the way the waiter impressed my family and I with the knowledge of the menu. Yes he gave a long overview of what was available but there was nothing he didn't know.👌🏾 As for the food, the prices are a bit high but they are well worth the value. Everything is prepared and seasoned with an African/Caribbean inspiration, and my family and I truly enjoyed it. The only downfall is this place is located in the heart of Overtown, which is a far distance from my residence. But however far you live it is definitely worth the trip at least once! As for me I will definitely be back soon 😉”

Not everyday someone can take an entire tables order customizations and all without writing any of it down and yet have the order come out perfect. The food was all cooked excellently, the kitchen staff at Paradis are definitely some of the best in town. I experienced Paradis for my birthday and absolutely enjoyed every bit.
