We came to visit Savannah and on our last day found this place guided by glowing reviews. We ordered Fried Whiting, Grilled Shrimp with sides of Collard Greens, Baked Mac and Cheese, Fried okra and Coleslaw. This ended up being the perfect farewell for our trip. It truly made our time in Savannah special and unforgettable. I highly recommend Simple Soul of Savannah - it’s a must-visit and we hope to be back!”

“It wasn't crowded at all and our food was very hot. The staff was friendly and even delivered our food to our table. I hope the community will support this location. I know we have a lot of seafood restaurants in our coastal area, but Captain D's will not disappoint. I will definitely return. I ordered fish and chips, hushpuppies and coleslaw....delicious. “I don't know why there are so many bad reviews for this location. I have never had a bad experience here. I by chicken tenders often and they are great. Better than KFC, better than popeyes. Etc. I do think their gas prices are a little high, because the gas stat just down the street is at least 10 cents cheaper. But the employees and the food is great. I must say though, the first time I ate at parkers was in claxton when they first opened the store there. They had great mac and cheese and an awesome chicken bacon ranch casserole. Sadly, after the store was established, they changed the recipe for the Mac and cheese, and it was not so good. They also dropped their chicken bacon ranch casserole, so I didn't visit them as often. I guess parkers was trying to cut back on expenses. Too bad, because they did lose customers. I can get a better flavor from a boxed Mac and cheese, although I would never eat something that awful. Just saying parkers.”

“Friendly service and great food. I ordered the Curried Goat with fried dumplings and peas and rice. The goat was perfectly seasoned and tender and the rice was some of the best I've had. It was my first time having fried dumplings and they are quite addicting. Such a good addition to soak up all the delicious juices from the goat. My husband and I will be coming back for sure! I can't wait to try other dishes”

“Took a chance on this place on a Friday night, somewhat late, and was pleasantly surprised! The food was great! I ordered the crab cakes, the salmon Alfredo, and a side of grilled shrimp. Everything was delicious! The service was great as well, everyone was very extremely friendly and attentive. I will definitely eat here again, and will recommend it to others as well! 😊”
