“If we were staying another night we’d come back a third time. Casey is an absolute culinary genius. The complex flavor profiles are barre non. Great beer choices, too with a full bar to boot. Jason is delightful and makes you feel right at home.”

“Came in to get a tea and the staff was so nice and friendly. The mango tea with green apple boba was surprisingly delicious! The food options look great too!”

“Had a little trouble finding it, because it's normal sized sign is dwarfed by the very large Lighthouse Pizza sign above it, but otherwise great experience. Great and varied bagels with unique cream cheese. The jalapeno bacon version is fantastic. Staff was friendly and quick. Great breakfast place.”

“Chicken Hibachi with rice and vegetables were delicious!! The wind was blowing and I got a whiff of someone’s calzone and smelled the garlic and ricotta cheese and I know what I’m ordering next time. We also had a pizza pie and that too was superb. Loved the service and atmosphere and there’s live entertainment on Fridays I believe. This place is awesome.”

“Such a delicious choice! It was our breakfast, but we got to choose from breakfast and lunch! Mady got the Spirulina bowl, and not only was it beautiful, it was so delicious. I would have been jealous, except my shrimp sandwich with chickpea salad was to die for. I wanted more, except we both were stuffed! We sat on the patio and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The people were so lovely and helpful. We asked for some adjustments to how things were made and they were happy to accommodate. Def go there. Great for vegans and the food is so fresh, and the flavors are well thought out. Kudos to the chef!”

“Awesome food and atmosphere! Me and several of my college friends had our annual "rendezvous" in Tybee this year and decided to check out Pier 16 for dinner Saturday night. We got a bit of a late start so there was a bit of a wait, but we were very glad we did. From the magician that came to the table white we were waiting for the appetizers, to the very patient waitress, we had a great time. It was one of the guys birthday in our party, and the whole restaurant ended up singing happy birthday to him as well. We will definitely be back!”

“This place was fabulous! Definitely go there and support small business! It’s very unassuming given its location next to a convenient store in a strip mall, but damn, it’s good! We stopped for breakfast and our food was some of the best breakfast sandwiches we’ve ever had. The owner is French and Portuguese, and was one of the friendliest shop owners we’ve ever met. The bread and croissants were delicious; just as good as Quebec City! We WILL be back!”

“Great fish and chicken tacos. Surf atmosphere. Even though they were very busy, our food came out quickly. The woman taking the orders was nice and personable. Honestly this restaurant was one of the main reasons I wanted to visit Tybee (new to Savannah).”

“Humble location but very nice and clean on the inside YUMMY!!! Great fish and chips- fish was fresh and glistening in every bite, standard shaped fries- tad bit crispy and seasoned- no salt needed, so good! Comes with another side, we had mac and cheese, was very good not from a box at all; can tell they made it themselves Crab Stew- Homemade original recipe by the chef. wow! Very flavorful, with cheese in it and crackers or pita bread on the side. Atmosphere- very friendly! Fast service Love to see they take pride in their work and greet everyone that walks through their doors”

“Loved it! Great atmosphere and food. We've been to others on Tynbee and this had the best food so far. Drinks were good as well. One of the waiters even sold us the shirt off his back, literally. We will definitely be back!!”

“Spanky's at Tybee is my happy place. The best Buffalo tenders on the planet. And Spanky's spuds. Oh gracious...how amazing. Love the food, the staff, the location. It's a must every time we visit Tybee.”

“Hey, it's Arby's. You know how it tastes. Every now and then, ya just gotta have one, right? I don't think this store has messed up an order maybe twice in 15 years. Cheerful folks at the window, most of the time. Was closed after Irma for a long.time. I'm glad they're back!”

“Great, Mary Ann is a super star. We went in three days in a row for food and drinks. The service was over the top every visit. Liked the pace a lot, been to Bernie's on River Street in the past. Food was good, market value. Will return next time we're on Tybee Island”

“Pizza is great. Decent prices. Don't know why people complain about the price. Its same as in Missouri so...can't be that bad. Wings are ok, but not great. I would pass on them and get more pizza. Staff was great.”

“Pizza was fine. Not the best I've ever had but fine. Eating areas were almost all outside. Makes it pretty hot in Southern GA as a meal. Cashier seemed to be under more pressure than she could handle.”

“It is definitely more of a bar than an eating establishment. But for a quick bite, it was very good. Great fries and potato salad. Friendly atmosphere. Lots of locals so the chatter was lively. If you dont mind cigarette smoke, then you'll like it here. We enjoyed the food.”

“I am very pleased with my experience here. The service was amazing and quick. The food was great! I was a little skeptical about the wings because the "bone ins" are baked and not deep fried, but honestly, they were so good I forgot that they were baked! Great place to visit if you're in the Tybee Island area.”

“Found this hidden gem during a recent trip to Tybee Island. Cold beer and great food. The seafood platter was plentiful and cooked to perfection and choice of sides. My wife had the fish and chips...not greasy just mouth melting. Both dinners served piping hot. We will definitely be back! Thanks to “Cooks” Kitchen at Benny’s on Tybee Island.”

“Food was pretty good, most of the staff were great. As soon as our waitress put our ticket on the table, we never saw her again. One of the other waitresses, who was super busy and super attentive to her customers was kind enough to refill our drinks. Our waitress wouldn't come out any further than the bar area. We had the breakfast buffet. The food was good, with a good selection, when it was stocked. They did seem to have difficulty keeping up with the quantity of customers coming in. All in all, it wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. If you're looking for a quiet breakfast place, this definitely isn't it. If you're looking for a quick breakfast with a little something for everyone, this is your place.”

“I had high expectations which I try not to cause I'm usually disappointed. I went late breakfast on a Friday morning before leaving the island. Waited about 20 minutes outside in the heat. The inside was very "hole n the wall, which was fine. You walk through the kitchen basically to get to the tables. Ordered fish and eggs - over medium (a little different with fish for breakfast but I was intrigued). The fish was delicious. The toast, was a splurge for me and unfortunately very disappointing that it came with no butter, was barely toasted (was still soft) and was cold. Took a few minutes to flag down a waitress (wasn't even mine) to get butter... which was cold and hard. By the time waitress checked on me and offered to get me some fresh toast, I was basically done with my eggs so no need for the toast. So, over all, fish was a hit, the rest could have been handled better if my waitress had just checked on me within a few minutes of my food arriving. I would try it again due to the vast variety of the menu, but would probably go earlier in the am.”

“The seafood was so fresh and seasoned very well. My family and I will return next time we vacation! The waiter could've been a little more attentive. He kept disappearing and we had to ask other waitresses to get him for refills on our drinks. Other than that, it was great, they even had live music! Overall great atmosphere.”

“Our first time trying this place did not disappoint! We sat outside on the deck. There was a nice gentle breeze and live entertainment. The food was absolutely delicious and we ate every bite with no regrets. We will definitely be back to this place next time we visit Tybee, it's a new favorite.”

“The setting is great, the service quick and friendly, and the food is FANTASTIC! I had the coleslaw and fries with mine and my wife had corn on the cob and fries with hers. My wife loved the corn and agreed the slaw is the best we have ever had. Its sweet and almost a meal itself. The shrimp are local, fried to perfection, and by no means "popcorn shrimp." They're good size, fresh and covered with a crisp, delicious golden batter. I wish I'd gotten our server's name. She was excellent, there every time we needed anything, (which we never had to ask for), but never hovering over our shoulders. She's a taller young lady with blond hair and excellent customer service skills. The owner introduced himself to us as we were leaving. He's a friendly person and made us feel welcomed. We will be back on a regular basis, especially between 3 and 7 Monday through Thursday, (I think...LOL), when they run specials. The shrimp, for instance, is only $9.”

“We took the dolphin tour that departs in front of CoCo's and was offered a coupon to use at the restaurant. For right on the water, I'd be wise of the owner to add bigger windows for a better view of the water! Food was your standard American, we all enjoyed what we got but could of eaten it anywhere. They did have a fun drink menu for good prices. Our server did a great job.”

“My favorite seafood restaurant of all of the united states, whenever I am going near the area. I always stop by. I cannot urge how important this place is for a must eat at. The service is always great, fast and friendly. I would definitely say if your in the area this is a must eat at place and try it for yourself. I have visited many seafood restaurants throughout travelling the USA and found this one to be at the top.”

“So I am from a Georgia but moved to Oregon almost 5 years ago. The west coast seafood isn’t like the east coast. I decided to do a low country boil for Mother’s Day out here. I googled and found the crab shack in Tybee Island that I haven’t been to in years and found out they deliver seafood even out here to me in Oregon. It was easy to order. Stephanie helped me out with questions I had. I got the food in two days and cooked it Mother’s Day and it was fantastic!!! Easy to follow directions and great tasting food! I will definitely be ordering from them again.”

“Atmosphere was great, sat outside. Now the bad.. Service was slow. People seated after us were eating before we ordered. Ordered a drink when meal came out showed up after the meal was complete. Felt like we were second the whole time. Kept hearing will be right back, then it was a long wait every time. The shrimp poboy was the driest thing ever. But never saw the waitress again till I was done choking it down. Everyone liked the fried food.”

“Amazing food, friendly service, local feel. We've been part-time "locals" (visiting several weeks a year) for 20+ years now. When we saw the prior restaurant was closed, we were saddened. However last week we visited for the first time and were NOT disappointed. Eclectic menu but something for everyone!!! If you're a local, you'll fit right in. If you're a tourist, you'll be just as welcome and happy you came! We will surely be "regulars" on our return visits!”
