“I’ve only been to this restaurant one time last year and I told myself I wouldn’t go back . I had a bad experience with one of the employees but I went and purchased a sub around 7pm on April 5,2019. The two ladies that served me were awesome and extremely helpful and fast. I didn’t know what I wanted to order so they let me taste the chicken before I purchased it and pointed me into the right directions when choosing my cheese and vegetables . I would come here again around the same time . The two ladies served excellent service .”

“Excellent food and superb staff. Without hesitation I tell friends that this is my favorite restaurant anywhere. The staff always make me feel welcome, and several of the long-time staff drop by our table to greet us or tell us about their newest artistic adventures. If I ever had something like a Cheers bar and restaurant, it would be Athens' Last Resort Grill. I don't know anyone who has had a bad experience or meal there. It's a part of Athens history, from the time it was a music club/bar to a hiatus to its redesign and reopening. I've been a loyal and regular patron for at least 25 years. Don't leave Athens without enjoying it. Suggestion: Get there early to avoid lines.”

Since it's close to waffle House, if this was a no-go, then at least waffle House would've been a save. But we had Blackened Voodoo (not that spicy) and lemon (zinger) pepper wings. Both were really good. I liked the lemon pepper wings but they were too lemony. Anyway, I'd go again. Good deals. Great option.”

The fries were the best part. The burger patty itself was ok--could have used some spices or marinade--but the CEO Burger w/ goat cheese and hot sauce as a whole was very good. What the patty lacked in juiciness was made up for in char-grilled flavor. $2 (generous) Fireball shots and $2 domestic bottles and draft pints. Great, attentive service at the bar.
