“Wow. This place is good, so good I had to eat here twice during my two day stay. There is a lot of variety as well. I had the chips and salsa, a large burrito and the Gran which was flavorful steak topped with a couple of fried eggs served with beans, rice and perfectly cooked fried plantains. All of it was delicious! The chicken burrito was outstanding and filling! The chips were fantastic and the salsa was a tad sweet for my taste but flavorful. The food was outstanding! And the place was fun as it looked like a little hole in the wall. The line is sometimes long and the picnic tables and different decorations was great! Simply fun and lively with nice outside seating!! The best all around food I had in Athens! Enjoy Cali N Tito’s on Lumpkin right by the University athletic complex!”

“Five & Ten had been highly recommended. We arrived later in the evening and the special we wanted was sold out. We both picked other entrees which were good, but not something we normally would have ordered. Service was outstanding. We had reservations so we were seated immediately. “This restaurant is family-owned and run by Jamaican immigrants and has been operating for 12 years in its current location. Very simple and authentic menu hand written on a dry erase board daily. The food is very good, as is the counter order service. Many dishes are spicy. I love the jerk chicken. If spice isn't your thing, try the grilled salmon. Essentially, you choose a meat/poultry and two sides. I recommend the mac and cheese, and if you like spice, the spicy cabbage (tastes sweet going in but has some afterburn). No-frills restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Very fair pricing. Give it a try.”

“Very Fast and fantastic service. The staff is friendly and really helpful and don't rush you with your order. I ordered a normal crust pizza with spinach and pineapple and it was fantastic. While I wish the pineapple was fresh it was still pretty good quality. My buddy ordered the pepperoni pizza and loved it. We went for his birthday so it was well worth the visit for the good food and service.”

I had a bad experience with one of the employees but I went and purchased a sub around 7pm on April 5,2019. The two ladies that served me were awesome and extremely helpful and fast. I didn’t know what I wanted to order so they let me taste the chicken before I purchased it and pointed me into the right directions when choosing my cheese and vegetables . I would come here again around the same time . The two ladies served excellent service .”

The staff always make me feel welcome, and several of the long-time staff drop by our table to greet us or tell us about their newest artistic adventures. If I ever had something like a Cheers bar and restaurant, it would be Athens' Last Resort Grill. I don't know anyone who has had a bad experience or meal there. It's a part of Athens history, from the time it was a music club/bar to a hiatus to its redesign and reopening. I've been a loyal and regular patron for at least 25 years. Don't leave Athens without enjoying it. Suggestion: Get there early to avoid lines.”

“First time here. Grouper nuggets on happy hour special for $5 were steamy and delicious w/ tartar sauce, and a generous portion for that price. You can't beat the $5 burger special on Tuesdays. The fries were the best part. The burger patty itself was ok--could have used some spices or marinade--but the CEO Burger w/ goat cheese and hot sauce as a whole was very good. What the patty lacked in juiciness was made up for in char-grilled flavor. $2 (generous) Fireball shots and $2 domestic bottles and draft pints. Great, attentive service at the bar. I'm definitely a new regular.”
