“I love this place. I get the snapper fillets all the time. Customer service is on point, and the food is fresh and tasty. I ordered the fried whole snapper for the first time and loved it. It could have used a lil more seasoning for me, but I am a seasoning fanatic and sometimes goes overboard. I used the lemon that came with it, and it was so good. I never really ate fish like that before but will start now. I will definitely get this again, and the price ($20) was amazing for the size snapper I got. I also tried the seafood rice which was good. It was seasoned well and had flavor. You must check this spot out!”

“The food is great I have had almost everything they offer. The wings are great and the catfish is superb. I have tried the philly and chicken cheese steaks sandwiches they both are good. I fell in love with fried green tomatoes after eating them here. I love the fact that they cook everything fresh. From raw uncooked meat to order that makes the meat taste so much better. It takes a little bit longer to cook but I rather wait 10-15 minutes for freshly cooked food then already cooked food that other places just drop into dirty grease. The people taking my orders are always nice and kind and the gentleman cooking the food who I found out his name is Kendall really does a good way job with his food. I am very happy to say when Ken cooks it's the best food I have ever tasted. I will be a forever customer of Deleon's Wing spot. Its good to have a black owned and operated business in the area.”

“Wow! I had to take some time to write this review! I live in another city but heard that this food is awesome so I made the 30 minute trip today...I was not disappointed!!!! I ordered a combo salad with both steak and shrimp! The package is beautifully wrapped and this was by far the best salad and worth every penny!!!! The size of the salad is huge and the customer service was excellent!!! “Simple menu of oysters, fried chicken and some interesting takes on southern side dishes served in industrial-modern decor. We ordered a half chicken with two sides and it was plenty of food. Get your chicken HOT, but be prepared to get messy. If that's not your thing try the chicken sandwich, which you can also order hot. I'd also recommend the creamed corn, but side dishes are pricey here. Overall, great addition to the neighborhood.”

“Just ate at Lake & Oak for the first time today and I'm mighty impressed. I had the chicken, pimento cheese, and collard greens sandwich. It was awesome. When I ordered it, I thought to myself, Well, this can go either way. Let me tell you, it went the right way: chicken was smoked beautifully and very tasty; just a schmear of pimiento cheese (which was just right, IMO; a tribute to the sandwich's overall being beautifully balanced); and a heaping amount of collard greens (again, just the right amount). I ordered Brunswick stew as the side and it was very nice, too. I'm not a BBQ expert or anything, but I've had my share of different Brunswick stews, and Lake & Oak's strikes me as a traditional straight-up version, which I thought was just right. As with the sandwich, the quality of the ingredients and care in preparation stood out to me in the stew. Nicely done. Will be going back again.”

“We went here for the first time as a birthday treat from our daughter. I love seafood and as I read down the lunch menu I spotted the seafood platter, had to have it!! It was fantastic as expected, but being the hearty eater that I am, a little more would have gone a long way. The fish was hands down the best fried catfish I've had since we moved to Georgia in 2006. I'm definitely going back to get the Grouper !!!! This place is a little pricey, but it's a must visit !!!”
