“I have to totally disagree with the previous two reviews. It is true that Repaz does not serve mammoth portions – if you want that, try an all-you-can-eat buffet or the Olive Garden. Compared to those restaurants’ sizes, the servings here are definitely smaller. However, they allow you to have an appetizer, entrée, and fabulous dessert without being so full you need to take a nap or being concerned that you’ll pack on the pounds. My wife and I have been to Repaz twice, once for lunch and once for dinner – both occasions were highly memorable. We went today and had the chef’s tasting menu – what a steal! We had seven courses that catered to my food allergy and each was beautifully executed. Some of the highest points included an apple carpaccio, pork belly with white beans, and an apple-pine nut bread pudding. The ingredients are indeed local when possible – the restaurant makes a big deal about it on their website menus, but I agree with previous reviewers that it would be nice if they made a bigger deal of it on site. Given all of this, I fail to see why paying $7 for a locally produced, exquisitely crafted, and appropriately-sized salad is so outrageous. (By the way – the panzanella is to die for!) To sum up: if you want a delicious, local meal that is handcrafted and accompanied by excellent service, go to Repaz. If you want to pay $5.99 for a tub-ful of sub-par, high food mileage filler, go elsewhere. The one negative, other than that the locals don’t seem to appreciate it, is that there’s no wine. Hopefully that won’t always be the case.”

“The fantastic smells when we opened the door for our first visit were very positive. My Bride and I ordered and then sat outside overlooking the river, wonderful! When our pizza arrived, the appearance was mouth watering with the slight char on some spots from the wood fire "BIGFOOT" pizza oven. The taste was very good. An area that needs improvement -- when the pizza was delivered there wasn't any silverware brought with it and we were told we had to get them inside. No one had told us about the single location for the silverware and that we had to take it with us to our table. Better communication of your approach to service would be appreciated (and a note for future customers - get your silverware after you order).”

“Excellent experience, especially considering that this is a relatively new restaurant that's still working out the kinks. All of our seafood entrees were well done, and the sides were fantastic. Oysters on the half shell were fresh and delicious. One entree was slightly overcooked for a member of our party, and the kitchen was fast in correcting it, and didn't charge for the mistake. We'll definitely be back, especially thanks to the excellent staff (thanks, Lacy!) and the dedication they have to improving!!”
