“I went there because a friend recommended it. This place is amazing! Every dish is delicious, but I especially enjoyed the ribs. They're so tender and flavorful, probably the best BBQ I've ever had. “Food is amazing! If you get a waitress named Jade then ask for another one. We sat outside to listen to jazz and because we enjoy sitting outside. It was 95 degrees outside and it took over 15 minutes to get a simple glass of water! We saw her twice! We had to get another waiter to even help us. I went to hostess to tell her our concern and all I got was a simple I’m sorry. I’m not asking for a reimbursement on my check but the apology was not even sincere. Again, food was great but service needs to be extremely improved on. I need to add to this: the white/Caucasian hostess was the one who blew me off not the African American hostess. The African American hostesses even offered me another drink from the bar while my husband finished his beer. She and the male waiter outside need a HUGE pay raise because they were the only ones who helped us. Thank you for responding back.”

“Tasty food! Interesting choices. The red button made quite an impression. Mostly traditional sandwich fare, but nestled in a strangely cool vibe. This is a very interesting eclectic choice of pink and white decor. Plus a disco vibe with the disco ball in the middle of the restaurant. The colors are bright and at first it seemed a little disconcerting. But I have to say overall it was an enjoyable experience. Assuming you're going there to eat let's talk about the food a little bit. There were a couple of burger choices that we tried and they were extremely tasty. I had fries for the side and they were seasoned well. The pimento cheese was very good. They have a bar area in the restaurant. So they do have a selection of wine and beer. It feels different than most restaurants. I'm not really sure what it is other than the colors and decor. Kind of a open airy feel versus the darker theme or fast food theme. The pink here shouts out at you. But, at the end of the day the food was excellent so I'm going to focus on that. They also have servers that come to your table which is a big plus for me in the restaurant world. So many places are going to the counter ordering. I'm not a big fan of that. The only downside to this place that I really can mention is their choice of glassware for water and wine is a small shallow glass that looks a lot like a ramekin for ketchup or something... It's perfectly functional but it seems a little short. A strange tidbit that does provide some novelty is the bathroom. You really need to check them out and be sure to hit the red button. I have no doubt we will return here. The food was good and the atmosphere was unique. I forgot to mention it but the service was also excellent. (Both bar and table side) There's parking available in the lot and I think adjacent lot. This is certainly a good place for a family dinner, group of friends, or a casual date. Maybe not a first date..”

“I was extremely impressed when they brought me my simple egg and cheese biscuit in a fancy box in a fancy bag. Coffee good, professionalism was 5/5, and the delicious and filling biscuit would’ve cost double where I’m coming from. It was obviously graciously prepped with not only higher grade ingredients as opposed to most places, but also looked glamorous. Also, it appears this place is in the middle of nowhere.”

Oh my goodness, black beans, rice, grilled onions, and top quality steak with the most amazing plantains on the side. As a local level 8 google guide- I give this spot a SOLID 5 star rating! We’re so fortunate to have this amazing spot now with all their fresh ingredients. Our kids absolutely love it. “Ok! So what a little tucked away GEM!!! Went in here today & have fallen in love. They have so many options & it looks so visually appealing— that I almost got mentally overloaded. But this team was so incredibly friendly & welcoming. They greeted me right away and fully educated me about their business and specialties drinks right away. “This pizza restaurant is, in a word, excellent. If you love thin crust, brick oven style with fresh toppings, these pizzas are consistently great. The employees are knowledgeable, well trained, considerate & efficient and the store is always clean & comfortable. Of the three Athens area “Your Pie” stores I’ve visited frequently, this one is far and away the best all-around. One of the others has closed & should have much sooner while the third deserves 3 stars. Please model all franchises on the qualities of this Watkinsville winner.”
