“A wonderful new addition in Blairsville. Very traditional Cajun menu with delicious choices. Appetizer fry basket is exceptional. Gator, shrimp, oysters all very tasty. The poboys are loaded with very fresh and wonderfully spiced crawfish, shrimp, or oysters, Also had a gumbo lunch special that was very good. The jambalaya is some of the best I've had. That's coming from someone that has been to the Jambalaya capitol of the world Gonzalez Louisiana. Don't miss the fresh made Beignets with a cup of traditional chicory coffee. You will think you have traveled to Cafe Du Monde. Lastly the restaurant is spotlessly clean. A very enjoyable time.”

“I am really sorry that I have to give them only 3 stars. My wife and I were really hopeful. The food was very good and it is a bit pricey BUT I expected that. After all it is fine dining. I enjoyed the appetizer of calamari and shrimp, it was quite good. I would've rated them higher but the kitchen speed was terrible!! And it was NOT the servers at all. Our server (Suzie) was wonderful, personal and caring. The KITCHEN was the issue. We waited an hour between our appetizer and our dinner!!! As we were sitting my wife and I noticed that NO ONE was getting their food so it wasn't a screw up with just our order. We were about to leave and cancel our dinner when our food finally came out. As did everyone else's. So the servers were very good, food was good but kitchen was SLOW! I won't go back for awhile to give them chance to work out the kinks.”

“The closest thing to civilization purchase wise when staying at the Getaway tiny cabin Glamping ground. It’s 4:17 in the afternoon on a Monday and they are closed. My wife says “maybe they are closed on Mondays?” It exists is all I can say....and that I hope they have penny candy and comic books like my childhood visits to New Hampshire. Update: peeked inside. Pretty sure it’s been closed for awhile.”

When you walk into Hot Rod's your welcomed by Craig & Jan(the owners) and an awesome display of Classic car's and Hot Rod memorabilia - my personal favorite would be the pictures of Clint Eastwood :) I ordered the Hot Ham and Cheese with tots. If you are not satisfied let them know and they will make it right. They embraced my feedback. Great place to eat and good prices. Like all new places they have some minor kinks to work out, but all in all a great start to an addition to blairsville.”

“This is my wife's favorite restaurant. We recently moved to the area and were disappointed it wasn't nearby. We were excited when we heard it was coming to the area. Not only that, but the grand opening was on our wedding anniversary! What a blessing. The food was fantastic. Staff were friendly. And they threw in a free dessert for our anniversary. It definitely won't be the last time we visit!”

“Papaw’s was amazing. We were staying in blairsville for the week and what a treat to be right down the street. I got a little bit of everything ribs, pulled pork, chicken, brisket, beans and the apple cobbler dessert. Everyone at the house enjoyed it, even the none barbecue eaters. My only regret was not seeing if I could get a bottle of their mild sauce to go. Wether local or driving by you will not be disappointed.”
