The ambiance is real neat with some great lighting and modern architecture. Super laid back place with the right type of music. A couple of dozen beers on tap. The food presentation is on point ranging from simple chips & salsa to burgers and garlic shrimp pasta. It's a new place worth checking out. Plenty if space for a large group combined nese seating for more cozy two person seating next to the bar. Happy hour is 11 to 5. Poke bowl for eight dollars and cherry pasta for 11. Asian chicken salad for 14 dollars. There's an awesome stair well to the top with a great view of the neighborhood below. You can see the brewery as a cool scenery back drop. The sour guava is legit ad worth trying out without a doubt.”

“My wife and I previously ate at the world famous shrimp truck Giovanni's and while the shrimp was yummy, we felt it wasn't worth the hype. After spending a day at the beach we decided to get some food quickly and settled on Waikiki Grass Shack since its conveniently located on the beach. We ordered the garlic shrimp and where amazed at how awesome it was. They are grilled and have an amazing garlic/grill fusion taste to it that was unexpected and memorable. This place comes highly recommended and offered a more memorable shrimp experience than some of the other more well-established shrimp establishments on Oahu.”

It's served family style and there is an amazing selection of food. I recommend trying a hot appetizer and a cold one then share an entree for a party of two. “This place is pricey for the food and drinks they offer, but it's a hotel bar/restaurant, and you're paying for the atmosphere and a nice view. My view of the sunset was blocked a little bit by some trees, but it was still nice. I had a few cocktails and a poke bowl, both of which were good. I made sure to stick to the happy hour and special drinks, due to the prices.”

“My neighbor suggested this place to me prior to going and he had sold me on awesome food and half price night. He said, literally, they take your food bill and take off 50%. And it was true, but you need to line up early to get in. We got their an hour early and people were already starting to line up. We had actually tried to go to the one in Maui and I had decided that we were not going to line up for food especially with young children in tow. Now that the kids are older, the line up is not terrible and the wait is worth it. Everytime we visit Honolulu, we definitely plan to dine here. You won't be disappointed.”

“While walking to the Airbnb we were staying at we've seen this food truck several times and we saw a sign that said they had pizza so we gave them a try. Everything is made to order and worth the wait! Yes, I'm one of those freaks that likes pineapple on a pizza so we ordered the Volcano but only with half lol my sister doesn't like it. Oh man that pizza is so good and fresh, nice amount of marinara sauce and toppings. We tried their disco fries, basically fries with gravy and and cheese over them very good. We also got a Stromboli, the dough was perfectly cooked and delicious! I'm not a fan of marinara sauce on the side I usually pass it over to my sister cause she loves extra sauce but not this time lol, I actually ate it all. With all the food we ordered we had enough leftovers for breakfast the next day lol, this is definitely worth checking out.”

“This is one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants in America and what an amazing place for the price you pay. You will get incredibly rich and unique flavors, loads of sides dishes and authentic Japanese drinks for about $35 per person (full meal with many side dishes at around 25-30 and large beer at around $10). “Usually Jack in the box is good, the guy taking the order was good. He was able to get the order correct. Usually the person taking the order has to repeat themselves quite a few times, which tends to be annoying because it seems like they aren't paying attention. But this guy was on it. Another positive thing was the milk shake, it's thick and tasted awesome. Chicken strips were good, as well as the fried rice. Negative things... I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich without mayo, but alas it had mayo on it. No allergies, just don't care for the taste of it on the sandwich. The french fries didn't taste fresh, like they were sitting out for awhile. The bacon cheddar potato wedges didn't seem to be cooked all the way, because they were on the firm side... Also we found a medium length blonde hair. Overall experience was ok for this location, I think the ordering guy was the best I've ever experienced.”
