“You get enough food for the money you spend, but I order the beef and I wish they put the grill up higher, so as to grill the beef and get that caramelization, instead of steaming it. Most of the sides are to die for, but the cucumber kimchi is lackluster. The chop chae is my favorite. I also don't care much for the or the bobas they use in their boba tea. They're soggy. Overall, a strong 3 stars.”

“The BEST pancakes in this part of Oahu! This place has been here in the local area for a while now, and continues to make the customers happy with their fantastic service and delicious food. The family and I really love their piping hot pancakes in the morning with a side dish of spam on the side. Koa Pancakes also has free refills on coffee, so it’s great to grab a fresh cup of joe before leaving for the Dayan. Overall, one of the best places for breakfast on the leeward side of the island.”

“KFC NEX Moanaloa I made an online order fir a $20 fill up special that is $28 in Hawaii. When I got there, they had sold out of chicken. I ordered at 7pm, close at 8pm. Was advised KFC didn't see my online charge. Window person Terri was very nice and said to call her if charged. I was charged and she offered to make it good, which she did today 6 days later. Great PR today.”

“I have been to this McDonalds restaurant dozens of times over a past two decades. I always enjoy the friendly atmosphere and fantastic service. Maybe this is because the McDonalds is location on the Navy Base, but regardless, it’s always clean and available to all the hard working folks on the base. Overall, this is BEST McDonalds location in Oahu in my opinion. Highly recommended!”

“The food was fried fresh and tasted A-OK. This was our first time eating at Popeyes in a long time and were unfamiliar with the new menu items so we ordered a variety of things. Communication with staff was a bit difficult but we got through it by being positive and friendly which worked well. The Cajun fish had good flavor, it was more like a fish stick not a solid piece of fish. We also ordered the chicken sandwich it was fresh and also was good. We did find out that the fish and chicken batter itself is not seasoned it is the sauce they put on the sandwich that makes it the "cajun spicy" The red bean and rice side is Ono! Nice open area to sit and eat. We will be back. Located on Hickham Air Force base access needed to eat here.”

“You must make a stop here if you are in the area. The hot malasadas were better than Leonard’s in my opinion. The homemade strawberry ice cream was excellent. I also tried the banana bread with chocolate chips which had good banana flavor but probably would have been better warm. The peanut butter cookie was tasty as was the energy bar which was more like a rice crispy treat. The cake bomb was lemony without being too much so and very moist. Went twice during my stay so far and will probably return again tonight.”

I shared the burrito with beans and rice with my spouse because I am used to always getting massive burritos at other Mexican restaurants. Needless to say I left a little hungry.
