“Everytime im in Illinois I gotta stop here! They have a mass selection of different soups you can get which rotates every day. They let you sample the soups before ordering. They also have sandwich and salad options or combos. I get the sandwich and soup combo, which is filling delicious and a great price. Great spot for lunch or a quick bite. And cant forget about the drink variety they offer fountain/tea's/and fresh juices to choose from. Definitely my go to spot whenever one is around.”

“Food was good. Decent size portion, but that's reflected in the price of the dish. I had steak skewers. The meat had a lot of flavor and was tender. My sister had lamb and said the same. My niece enjoyed the baklava, it was all she wanted to eat. The rice pudding tasted great, but the texture seemed a little off. It was a good meal and we all voted we would return.”

Unfortunately, a Big downside for me is they have replaced the old style of dining they used to have, with kiosks instead that you now have to order at when you go in(No Waitresses). Your order number is called and you have to go pick your food up. It is a sign of the times yes(Not a Good One though)! I personally think it really takes away from the classic soda fountain style diner that they were known for and that I Loved.”

“Quincy's Maya Authentic Mexican Restaurant has always been my favorite go-to Mexican restaurant in Quincy, IL. The staff are always friendly and provide excellent service. The food was amazing as always. One thing I did notice was the dish I always get (Maya Special Chicken & Shrimp mix) was WAY less food, and had some veggies that usually aren't in it. It's been a few years since I was there last so I understand things change. The atmosphere itself is a delight, it's always so beautifully decorated.”

“The sushi selection is a little bit limited compared to other places i have been to, but you can't beat the price of the sushi lunch combos. Best price on sushi anywhere. The rolls are all very high quality, our favorites are the Seven's rolls, the eel roll, the shrimp tempura roll, and the Hollywood roll. The Hollywood roll goes together very well with the spicier rolls. The soup and salad that come in the combo are also very delicious.”

“So, with this location opening at 4pm, you literally have to be there at 4. By 4:10, the line was out both doors onto the sidewalk. You can phone order ahead, walk up to the side window and order as well. We were seated at 4:15. It took 30 min to get our water. My husbands drink went dry 3 times before our fried pickles appetizer came out, which was missing the dipping sauces. I received my house salad at around 50 min into our meal. Then we received, our steak dinners at 5.45, so a good 2 hrs from start to finish. My red sangria $7/drink was made wrong (new bartender was the excuse). No draft beers. My steak was ordered Medium Well it came out dry and cold. Not our favorite visit this time. However, I gave 3 stars one for the amazing holiday decor and overall cleanliness of the building. 1 for the warm delicious rolls with honey butter, and 1 because our waiter was nice just needed more training.”

“Definitely a favorite! They have vanilla and chocolate soft serve all the time and then they have two flavors of the week. Peanut butter is my favorite! The parfait is awesome-they layer your choice of ice cream with two toppings of your choice. Service is a little on the slow side, so be prepared to wait. It is worth it, though!”
